I was a strange teen and watched showgirls a lot on VH1. It was pretty hilarious the lengths of censoring they took. I like them talking about Showgirls. But I don’t think the acting was so much bad as the writing/dialogue along with the unclear direction of the film was just bad. Honestly no matter how good of an actor you are; a confusing script like the one for “Showgirls” (and without a clear story/approach) would mess up any performer to perform to a level of believability.
