He explaines himself like heaven. I could be listening to him for hours. I'm Spanish and eventhough I understand most of it, the things I dont get, he facilities me the ears to be able to search on google the words on my own rewriting of what I believe I heared.

I think the redefined Ned Kelly look with a mullet was such a great creative choice. It really did create a strong but not tacky Australian character without completely reinventing what we know about Ned Kelly.

I watched Kelly Gang last night, and I really enjoyed it! But I’m American, and have no connection to the Ned Kelly story whatsoever...Complete departure from 1917, but still a great film in its own right! Bottom line: George MacKay is extraordinary and crazy talented! 😍🤩

Researching Australian history before I view this flick. I only know they and the New Zealanders were our allies in the Pacific region during World War II. Looking forward to it.

No quarrel with this bloke, he’s an amazing actor, from the films I’ve seen him in. but why not get an Aussie to play Ned. And before anyone says he was Irish. No he wasn’t. He was Born in beveridge Victoria which makes him Aussie.
@shalesely4 жыл бұрын
Why GET an aussie to play Ned? Not all Australians are blood related to him lmao. It really had no value who plays him. George has done a fantastic job with this film and representing Ned Kelly, and for me, as an Aussie, that's all that really matters 💁♀️
@NoXone954 жыл бұрын
Leesee obviously we’re not all blood related to him lol, look at Heath ledgers Ned Kelly. True to the core of Ned, maybe a bit ponsy imo but still a good Ned Kelly, this Ned Kelly was a weird cross dressing bipolar psycho path. Not saying he couldn’t have been a psycho in real life but he definitely didn’t wear dresses, as an Aussie it was insulting to watch them dismantle a hero down to a lunatic in a dress, that’s just my opinion. And I’m in no way shape or form blaming the actor he’s terrific and did what they asked of him. It’s more the story I disliked and again the fact they could have had a born and bred Aussie play the role. Regardless though a don’t think an Aussie that respected Ned and what he did would have played this role. Only my opinion so don’t get upset at me pls.

@@NoXone95 This movie isn't an accurate representation of what actually happened, and who Ned Kelly was. George is apparent about that. It's an interpretation of Ned and his story. He's explained in an interview before about how he wears dresses & lace; something along the lines of Ned Kelly representing what it is to be masculine, but what if being masculine entailed wearing dresses? It's an badass interpretation of what Ned Kelly could have been - simple as that. But agree to disagree I guess
@NoXone954 жыл бұрын
@@shalesely you guess right cos a bloke wearing dresses especially Ned Kelly isn't a badass interpretation. That's blasphemy.
