I agree completely. Bought mine a couple years ago for $370 new. My least expensive yet best shooter. More accurate, at least in my hands, than any 9mm. Amazing trigger. I'd pay twice what I initially did for another. 10 out of 10!

...and if your interested in a higher capacity mag, promag makes a 20 rd for the Para Ordinance p14 that works well with all but the slide locking in the backseat position after the last round is expelled.

I bought one new about 4 years ago for about $375. I really, really like this gun. I rather shoot it than any of my other .45 acp pistols. It is a high quality solid build with a really good finish. It was sooth and accurate right out the box. Only came one magazine, but I have since added 2 more, and they are expensive. The grips are adequate and comfortable, but not great. There aren't many after-market options so I'll keep them for now. Overall this is a really good pistol for much less than any of its competition, and well worth twice the price. Glad I bought it...!

I have had one for about 3 years....It has been amazing in all aspects..just a beast of a weapon...i bought a Stainless version last year and i was disappointed with the finish...Lots of bubbles and was half finished in the mag wel,,,attention to detail was just not as good as my first k2....even the frams to slide fit was much looser on the stainless...so i sold that one...My first one is solid as a rock and i have 2500 rounds through it with no hiccups.l

@zivendine3 жыл бұрын
I’ve harrell love affair with mine. Yes it’s heavy but consider it’s all steel both frame and slide. It will be here long after I’m gone. I’m somewhere in the 700-1,000 rds. Never a hang up including my powder puff hand loads I use in my 45 ACP revolvers to hot +P Buffalo Bore. At age 72 and no longer having that steady hand of past years. I can’t honestly attest to its accuracy but can say I’m more than satisfied. Got mine long before the insanity, paying about $320 + about another 30 or son in shipping and FFL fees. My only gripe are the cheesy plastic grips. I wasted no time ordering real nice wood grips from Turkey via eBay. It is a near perfect fit in the US GI Beretta holster for open carry. As much as I like it, it’s simply to heavy especially with the added weight of 14+1 45 ammo for comfortable concealed carry. When I do carry openly I load it with 185gr Winchester Silver-Tips. If you’re like me, a persnickety old school geezer and not being fond of plastic fantastic dishwasher safe Glocks. Put your 1911 away and get the double capacity of the SAR 45. You won’t be disappointed!!
