hey, If you can't find mags for this thing. You can use Para Ordnance P14 magazine for these things. Look for the Mec-gar P14 magazine, they also makes it for Para Ordnance and is better than anyone else. Also the Remington r1 double stack magazines can be use on this thing too. Food for thought.
@mr2275cur5 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I was aware of the Para Ordinance P-14 mags, but know about the Remingtom R1's. The P-14 mags at one time used a different follower than those of the SAR K2, and wouldn't lock the side back on empty mag.
@HiThere-du4up5 жыл бұрын
@@mr2275cur Yes I know. I have one of these pistols and purchased when they first came out. It is a pain looking for parts. Mine came with one mag and it was a horrible mag. I had a bunch of p14 mags from the P.O.S Para Ordnance that I previous had. And they just worked good. I put over 7000 rounds over the years of ownership and the firing pin eventually got worn down. EAA was the importer and they never had parts for it. Tri Imports took over and they suck. Now there is SarUsa and they told me that they are still in set up stage... Ok, I guess they are recently setting shop. I got so annoyed that I just took it to a gunsmith that was highly recommended. He actually did fix it very well.The recoil spring and the other springs were from Cz but I can't remember which models they were though, sorry. He was able to find an original new firing pin, so that was good. I wanted some night sites on it but there are none available. So the gunsmith put night sights from a Tanfoglio Witness pistol. To my understanding, he had to do few adjustments but it works. Also thanks for the tip about the grip. My grips broke couple of times. That damn crazy glue works great but it looks ugly. I will be replacing my grips soon. Take care now.

@@HiThere-du4up Damn,Man...LOL, LOL... Sounds like you've had a time with your K2. I've put maybe 2000 rounds through mine, and luckily the only this that's broken are those crappy factory grips. Thanks for sharing that though.

The SAR K2 45 is a clone of a CZ97 but actually better: 1. 14rd mag vs 10rd CZ mag 2. Slide is 3oz lighter vs CZ 3. Slide is .15" lower vz CZ 4. SAR K2 45 available in stainless steel 5. 33% off the price of CZ97 6. Better machining and fitment 7. Trigger is perfect 👌

I bought mine 3 months ago for slightly under $550 and its a bargain even then. Put about 400 rounds through it and I am not looking at 1911s anymore. This is it, especially with 14 round mags! I would say a high end 1911 will be more accurate, but this is more than accurate enough.
@mr2275cur Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've had mine for quite a while and have put several 1000 rounds through it. I'm happy to say that its been reliable' and as accurate as I am. The 14 round mags are definitely a plus. But as much as I like, I've decided to trade it on my next gun.

CDNN sports had these at one time for $359... What most people fail to notice is that they come with night sights.... They're phosphorescent, so you have to shine a flashlight on them, and then they glow for a few minutes.... I think the build quality is equal to or better than a sig 226...

GREAT REVIEW, But what's up with the purple gloves? Any thoughts on how this compares to the SAR ST45?
@mr2275cur4 жыл бұрын
I've never actually seen or used a ST 45, so my opinion isn't fact or experienced based. But I don't believe there is no comparison. The K2 is an all frame, hammer fired, DA/SA pistol. Whereas the ST is a striker-fired, full ambidextrous, polymer framed gun. It compares more to the FN FNX-45, S&W M&P 45 and others in that category. I'd like to try one though. Don't worry about the gloves...!
