I've written elsewhere on the internet about my childhood trauma at the hands of an abusive father. But I also think that there are moments in life that can go on to define us. Moments of extreme trauma, or danger perhaps life-threatening situations that you might just barely scrape through. Then almost anything you face in the future is relatively insignificant by comparison.

Round about the same time 1978-80, I foolishly put my arm in the chimp cage at Twycross Zoo to stroke it. I was a similar age. The chimp grabbed my arm and nearly ripped it out of its socket. These were the chimps that we used in the PG tips advert at the time and I thought they would be pretty tame. Bloody hell, it was strong! Staff had to help out to get my arm back. Lesson learnt, I think!

My um le ran a London Pub in the sixties. It was a real rough house, a man’s drinking place. And he thought it was a good idea to buy his 6 kids a spider monkey. It’s name was Hector. Well the kids thought it was great, the customer thought it was brilliant, for about, 6 weeks. Then it was pretty much left to wander about the pub, as everyone lost interest in it. It went pretty much feral. They didn’t feed it properly. It bit people screamed. It got out a several times into the local park, and always returned to the bar itself. One day, I’m 6. I think. My auntie has just cut me a bit slab of Jamaican ginger cake. As I was about to bite into it Hector swung from god knows where, took the cake cleanly from my hand. I was terrified of it. I wonder if it’s still alive somewhere in south London.

Calling yourself a doctor doesn't actually make you a doctor pal. Shut up, your completely ignorant and uninformed opinions mean nothing since you have absolutely no academic medical or scientific education at all on the subject of childhood trauma and it's effects on a person's mind, you just think you know because you're an arrogant deluded smart-arse and simply make just everything up and try to pass it off as fact. You are a quack at best no different to snake oil salesmen or fortune tellers. Go and peddle your nonsense to the weak minded and gullible sycophants that follow Russell Brand
