This is beautiful 😍. During covid all th judo and bjj clubs are closed so... I have drilled bjj techniques on a grappling dummy and focused on my mobility. And I have made a list of judo techniques (excluding my favourite techniques) and picked one throw every 3 days and drilled it and ONLY that technique. Every 4th day I have drilled my nage no kata. Every other day I have performed 100 push ups, 100 squats and 50 ring pull ups with judo sleeves. when the clubs go back I'll be ready to rock and roll
@m5a1stuart83 Жыл бұрын
why not run 10km? you can be the strongest man if you do 100 push up, 100 pull up, 100 squat and 10km running everyday.

very good, but you can also do it and catch them AS they are steppign forward (block the ankle while off the groung) it gives the same effect as tripping over a curb makes the technique very versatile. one of the best demos of this technique ive seen, oh and it is sasa-eh as budo said

Trying to get better at this throw comes in handy when ur opponent likes to be aggressive or usually good to catch someone trying to do osoto gari

In sparring, in what moment are you able to pull this off? When he's pulling or pushing you, a bigger opponent, how do you achieve a way to pull him off balance and then initiate the throw?

Hi, nice clear explanation, im learning jiujitsu and this is very clear, at least for me. Thanks

Great to put a name to a good technique! I do this throw in jujitsu from a punch. left hand blocking down right foot stepping in and using the right hand to strike up into the arm pit to take the opponent off balance.

@MinMinn1927 жыл бұрын
Domingo Ortiz In de ashi barai, you sweep your opponent's leg from the back. Sasae is blocking your opponent's leg and throwing them over yours.

According to Kodokan you are 100% wrong on what constitutes a hiza guruma and/or sasae tsurikomi ashi. Kodokan is the ONLY authority on determining classification of techniques. Skillful does not mean right.
