I like how she refers to her father as a knight, while he probably was one in his human form, it seems like he was a knight at heart as well

If you read the books this line makes much more sense. Her father literally was a knight who Geralt met and became friends with while they were kinda hunting a dragon with Yennifer (Geralt joined the hunting party to figure out why it was acting crazy, the knight/dragon joined because the dragon was his pregnant mate, and Yennifer wanted the dragon's heart for a spell). Long story short, they manage to head off the hunters, the dragon dies in childbirth and the knight/dragon leaves in human form with his new daughter.

Oh, never mind, I've read the progressive cynics' comment and I remembered. Thanks mate. That really makes sense now

The Progressive Cynic Actually i believe Myrgtabrakke (Saskia's mother) survived. Borch/Villentretenmerth said in the book she had escaped while everybody was fighting. And Dragons lay eggs in the Witcher-verse; there was no childbirth.

And that is why i choose Iorverth's side ;) This part of the story is just amazing and has a richer story-line than the other one. Both have their interesting bits, but to me, this one is just better. Hope you enjoy the rest of it as well, Letalis.

I have no idea how some people don't like Saskia, she is completely badass and like her father has a noble heart. Prince Penis can die for allowing her to be poisoned! Still gutted there's no room for her in Witcher 3 but I don't know where she'd fit in anyway.
@MrJH1016 жыл бұрын
BeautyIsJustAMask except it was actually Philippa Eilhart who poisoned Saskia.
@BeautyIsJustAMask6 жыл бұрын
J3SS3 H well Olcan did the poisoning which Stennis allowed but why would Olcan do that for Phillipa?
@MrJH1016 жыл бұрын
BeautyIsJustAMask Because when you’re questioning witnesses, one of them overheard Olcan specifically knowing that Saskia was a “monster” and he was trying to tell Stennis this. So that’s what Olcan’s motive was for wanting Saskia dead. He was trying to invite his master to his plot and whether Stennis accepted or not still makes him look culpably guilty for even knowing Olcan harbored those intentions. The priest would have likely approached Philippa as well, since as a former court sorceress she would have the most experience in such matters of poisoning and intrigue. This is where she would likely start scheming herself, as she always does. And then later on, moments before his death, Olcan was still attempting to divide Stennis against Saskia. Stennis refuted him saying that "All my other commanders have betrayed me,” indicating he hasn’t yet won his master’s approval. Stennis was a royal ass, but even he knew better than to fight the upcoming battle without Saskia and was not so great a fool as to try to encompass his own defeat beforehand. Olcan was the architect of the plot and the one who did the most to further it. But where would he procure the poison? It doesn’t seem like something a priest would know how to whip up. But Philippa did know how to make it, did know the proper dosage, did know the antidote, and did know how to tamper with said antidote to control Saskia for herself. There’s also the outcome that if you chose Roche’s path, Stennis will be dead along with Olcan on the battlefield, yet Philippa still ends up completing the whole plan anyways. I believe Philippa set up Olcan, who was the one who wanted Saskia dead, with a poison exactly suited to making herself look like a hero, but now with a pet dragon on her side. Remember, the true antagonists of this game aren’t actually Letho and his witchers, but the Lodge of Sorceresses who were scheming with Nilfgaard. Philippa was lying to you from the beginning about almost everything and not a word she said can be fully trusted. To her, Stennis would’ve been just another Northern Monarch and a hindrance to the Lodge’s plan to create a state run by the Sorceresses.

J3SS3 H interesting but it seems a glaring plot hole that Saskia is still poisoned in the Roche path. I mean how did Phillipa get the ingredients needed especially the rose of rememberence to cure Saskia and then control her at the end.
@MrJH1016 жыл бұрын
BeautyIsJustAMask She would get the Rose from Triss, seeing as how Philippa was the one who had Triss with her the entire time as that figurine. As for the rest of the questline, she would’ve had Iorverth and what remained of his Scoietel handle it, since there would’ve been no Stennis lynch mob for them to be busy containing.

They should bring her back in TW4 with a good good reason to why she was missing(ignoring weak writing ideas)from the war at TW3 especially after all her ideals and this Vergen saga(not talking about the fact that as a dragon she could do alot of damage saving upper aedrin )
