I still remember watching this music video on CBC Video Hits back in the late 80s when I was a teenager. Sass Jordan is so unbelievably underrated, it's truly shocks me how the likes of Celine Dion and Alanis Morissette (who are also Canadian) were able to make it big by breaking into the US market while an amazing vocalist like Sass Jordan didn't. I still remember watching this music video on television during CBC's "Video Hits" back in 1989. I might still have it recorded on a Betamax tape somewhere which is probably long gone now. Love this new uploaded version with the higher 480p resolution, it sucks to have to watch great videos from 25 years ago in only 240p.

So Hard is a great song and charted well... but people who only know Sass from this song (or the album Tell Somebody) are missing out on one of the best blues voices Canada has ever produced... Check out her album Rats if you want to hear it at it's best.

The coolest part of this song, video, is that I listened to this many years after it was done....Only to find out my friend Erik did this video! It's him talking with her at the beginning. He was the director on this video. They did three other videos together, that I'm aware of. He has gone on to great things and has become a well recognized director.
