For the first problem you could just plug in let’s say zero to the top equation and then see which ones match the top equation if any are left besides the right answer and then you could plug in another number let’s say one to find the right answer

I don’t mean to be rude, but how do people get such low scores? I’m not trying to be mean, but I’m genuinely curious. Did you just not pay attention in class? Most of the kids in my school get a 1500+, as 1510 is the median SAT score at my high school. Most of the math is taught in school, and a few niche question topics/types in the math section can be learned and reviewed in a week. The grammar section takes about a week or two of learning and applying rules. The only section I can understand some people getting lower is the English section because the time is limited and the passages are often boring. However, with limited practice I would expect 1500 to be very common, and yet it isn’t.

@@sayebkhan8098 I'm a 1520 scorer but you never know the conditions that students have to come from. A low income student with limited access to help is most likely going to have a significant advantage when it comes to the test. You never know someone's background and it's perfectly normal to score 1300 it's actually a pretty good score

GUYS, FOR DEVISION OF AN EQUATION THAT IS HAS SOMETHING LIKE x-1 or x+5 USE SYNTHETIC DIVISION, IT IS BY FAR THE FASTEST WAY WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO USE IT(it has some rules tho)

@@carson8227 depends on which campus. If ur looking at the main campus, a 1240 is probably within their range (don't quote me). If ur applying to a satellite campus like Abington or Erie, I think that's more than enough

Brooke, great video but wouldn't it be much easier for problem #23--the equivalent expressions one--just to plug in a value for x, in this case let x = 0, and see which of the choices is equivalent when you plug in 0. Only choice D has a positive square root of 2!
