Wonderful lecture. There are very few videos on Sat navs. My TomTom kept me around Tesco for over 10 minutes until I decided to move away. Computers will remain computers.

If a sat nav helped with complex junctions and spiral roundabouts, instructing us which lane to go to and stay in, that’d be amazing. Without that, don’t see the difference between using the sat nav and my phone

Good video sir you explained the bad and good about TomTom sat nav so I'm thinking to buy a Garmin which is better I think and besides you showed us the technique in driving by those wrong order and wrong road signs in sat nav.ignore the sat nav.thank u

Why? We don't use sat nav everyday in real life this is just crazy because you have to pay attention on the sat nav and road signs at the same time it's too much and not fair for learners 😥😠 I don't know who came up with this idea.

LOADS of drivers use sat navs! And it is highly likely that you will need to use one at some point. It makes perfect sense to teach learners how to use one, it's much safer that way.

The routes used on the driving test will have been examined for Sat Nav anomalies and eliminated as far as possible using their standard model. Should a road closure occur or a candidate simply go on an incorrect route safely they will not fail on this error. It is not a navigational test and in this respect the examiner will verbally override any misleading sat nav output. You can ask the examiner any questions about what route he/she wants you to follow at any time.
