Bro, your my favorite teacher of scripture. Grew up hard and heavy on fire and brimstone, rapture any second , preachers hanging off pulpits and wound up with severe ptsd and anxiety/ depression issues. Spent a lot of years hooked on drugs and many other forms of addictions but through it all always had my faith in God , and that the truth had just gotten really twisted and perverted. When you teach there is this spirit within that confirms you are teaching the truth on these issues. Thank you, For that truth as it has been so boldly said, sets the captives free. Anxiety and depression and other issues are getting better and better just by drinking in the truth you speak to my soul. That said, I've also heard the concept is that the 'little season' is 250 years. (a quarter of 1000); that would bring us to 2026 as the end of the 'little season'. I'm not sure if You agree with that, but I have heard the concept.

One other tidbit regarding the little season. At the end of the little season, God destroys the adversary which surround the camp of the saints, the beloved city, the earthly extension of the new Jerusalem, God's people. He delivers Jerusalem. While in the 1st century, He destroyed old Jerusalem. Old Jerusalem was surrounded by the Roman's & God delivered them into Rome's hand. He did not deliver old Jerusalem. He razed it. While in the end of the little season, God delivers new Jerusalem & destroys the adversary that surrounded her. See the difference? The little season did not end at 70ad. It ends in our future. Full preterism is not biblical. The form of preterism that I espouse, if I were to put a label on it would be Pre-Millennial-Preterism (PMP). God bless.

Great video Shade. Very much appreciate what you do and how respectful you are to those who hold different views. I personally was born straight into pre trib pre mill. 6 years on I'm full preterism. For me I'm kinda frustrated that all my pre trib brethren can't see what I now see. They see me as I've went rogue 😅. I get it and I understand. We all wanna defend the word as we see it. I even question myself at times lol 😂. If only we could all see the same. But in one way if we all understood it the same way we would be less likely to keep studying the word if that makes sense. It keeps us digging. But also it refines us personally. Like I can look back at how I have changed towards those that hold different views. I used to call them heretics and false prophets. Hey bro! Always love your work & the Christ-like demeanor you project. I got your back my good brother....even though I disagree with the FP position. So here's the way I see it. The bible doesn't give the starting date or the ending date of the little season whether one takes the FP position or not. The little season is comparative to the longer millennial reign. Also, the reign of Christ did not start in the 30s ad. Look at what the repentant thief on the cross said to Jesus: "Lord, remember me when YOU COME INTO YOUR KONGDOM". At the cross, Jesus didn't have the kingdom reign therefore He didn't have it prior. He also didn't have the kingdom after His resurrection. When His disciples asked Him b4 His ascention if the kingdom was going to be restored to Israel at that time, Jesus told them it's none of their business when that time would come, thus showing the kingdom reign did not start then either. But in another place, Jesus tells them when His kingdom would start...when He told them that some of them would not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming into His kingdom. That was in the context of His return at the end of their generation in 70ad. So that proves that there was no millennium reign and little season prior to 70ad. The thousand year reign commenced at the overthrow of apostate Judah. Thousand is not symbolic of fullness. It's symbolic of a long time. It's actually a plural word with an uncertain affinity. It could be properly rendered thousand(s). Meaning somewhat more than an exact thousand. Just like the 3 and a half years or 42 months of Jersulem being troddened down in the Roman war was literal as history proved, so also the thousand years which is symbolic of a long time but literally a long time. About the camp of the saints. Yeah I also am aware that some speculate it's in the North Pole. My reaction: simply LOL! The camp of the saints is wherever Christ's true believers are throughout the "breadth of the earth". We here are an extension of the beloved city the new Jerusalem in heaven. We are not an earthly kingdom. We are an earthly city with our roots in the heavenly realm. The satan/adversary surrounds the camp of the saints worldwide or breadth of the earth. This is happening right now under our noses. There's never been a worldwide assault on Christ this side of the cross till now that the little season is in full swing & and probably at its tail end. They are even making laws against certain verses in the new testament. This is just too plain to see & cannot be denied. As far as "world without end", yes that's true. But it doesn't say a world with unending evil. For the ages to come the glory of Christ will be celebrated. Not the darkness of unending evil on earth. That is not biblical my brother. God Himself swore that His glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. That can't happen if God planned the darkness of evil to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Christ taught His disciples to pray Your kingdom come, Your will be done ON EARTH AS it is in heaven. Did Jesus model for His believers a vain prayer? He was against idle words, how much moreso idle prayers that have no basis in truth...if that prayer was never meant to be answered. Do you see my brother the contradictions that FPism brings to the table? It actually distorts the plan of God and maligns His character cuz let's face it...God is all powerful. He can easily conquer & eradicate evil. If He doesn't, it would be not cuz He can't but that He doesn't want to. FPism has God & Christ ruling heaven while having evil rule earth for infinity. If God's loving character wouldn't permit an ever burning hell, does it make sense that He would ordain a metaphorically burning hellhole on earth for infinity? God is not the author of disorder but of peace. That's the goal God is working out. As for the liars & dogs outside the city. Yes. That started at the beginning of the reign in 70ad. But it doesn't say that those are eternal conditions. Psalm 110 states that Christ would rule "in the midst of your enemies...untill ALL enemies are His footstool. So there won't be liars & dogs without the city for infinity & beyond. It will end when Christ is fully triumphant over all opposing authorities. "For He MUST reign TILL He puts down all opposing authorities". That's the end goal my good brother. All willingly bowing the knee to Christ to the glory of the Father...which THEN will be the fulfillment of God's oath to cause His glory to cover THE EARTH AS the waters cover the sea. I hear you! For me, I went for years until I came across the Little Season after rejecting futurism. Especially anything to do with that Counterfeit nation many worship. The biggest thing for me was that fake place after realizing the city is fake too. This means anything to do with that city or nation is impossible to fulfill. Full Preterism takes the position that all things in the bible are fulfilled. They were fulfilled in the First Century when Ancient Israel was destroyed. That the Old Covenant was fulfilled in the First Century, and we are now in the New Heaven & Earth based on the New Covenant. We also take the position of Ephesians 3:21 that the 'world is without end'. Hope this helps!

When I read the end of Revelation I picture it as Christ speaking again to the Churches...coming back into what was the present moment...and looking outward to his Millennial reign...where he will reign along with the Saints with an Iron fist...as outside the Heavenly city there will still be sinful man...anyway, glad I found your channel. Incidentally the Bible does say that there is a time when the Thousand years have "expired"...so this sets limits on the Millennial Kingdom time period...

Shade, I believe the problem lies in corrupted genealogies perpetrated by the Jews in the first century. Most bibles today use the Jewish text or what is known as the Hebrew Masoretic Text. James Usher used this text to calculate an Approximate 4000 BC timeline. However and thank goodness, there is an older copy of the Bible known as the Greek Septuagint, and it’s genealogies are much different and calculate a much different timeline which equates to an approximate 5500 BC timeline. The millennium would’ve actually begun 500 years after that, 500 A.D. our time. Josephus and many first century historians used the 5500 years timeline in their writings. Ironically, this coincides perfectly with Daniel 2 and 7 where it speaks of the four kingdoms, and the last kingdom to fall would’ve been the Roman Empire, at approximately 476 A.D. then would come the Kingdom of God. According to Google, the next empire to rise was the Byzantine Empire, which, ironically, lasted 1000 years. This same 1000 years is known as the “Dark Ages” today. The Satans little season would’ve happened shortly after that, maybe approximately 1650 AD? Where are the camp of the Saints? I personally subscribe to the idea that it is North and South America, where many of the blood of the tribes of Israel and its descendants have ended up in. That’s not to say that all over the world aren’t saints, but it seems America would be the place Satan would want with it being a land of plenty. I believe that Battle of Gog and Magog is WWIII. There are many prophecies and visions that folks have had of Russia and China invading America, and that would certainly be a surrounding for sure. This is food for thought, and hope you might find it interesting. Great videos and research on your part.

The new earth has no seas. That one fact alone disproves Full preterism. The abominable are outside of the beloved city...they're in the lake of fire...exactly as written. Scripture is clear, after the little season is over and the final war happens, judgment begins and the unrighteous are thrown into the lake of fire with Satan and the righteous go to the new earth with the new Jerusalem and new heaven...and the new earth has no seas. Those judged as unrighteous are cast into the lake of fire. So unless full preterist are suggesting that we are currently in the lake of fire (we aren't), then little season hasn't passed because judgment hasn't come yet.

I understand this point of view. Thank You for sharing. That said, I think taking a symbolic look at 'no more sea' might be something to consider. In Daniel and in Revelation, 'The Beasts' come 'out of the sea'; this was explained to be the Kingdoms of the earth that were outside Israel. So John could mean symbolically that there is 'no more sea' because there are 'no more sea beast kingdoms'. As for the 'lake of fire'...I plan on doing a video on this because much of our understanding hinges on getting this right.

Chapter 21 opens with "and I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea" the context here being the new heaven and the new earth...so the "no more sea" part is a descriptor of the subject being spoken about which is the new earth. John receiving the vision was saying he saw the old passing away, judgment, and a new heaven and new earth appearing and he was comparing this new earth with our current earth and making a comparative remark saying "the new one has no bodies of water"... idk, to me, when you read scripture literally, like with this whole little season bit, it just makes so much more sense and removes the need to use the imagination to arrive at assumptions. To me, chapter 21 verse 1 is clear, new earth has no bodies of water, meaning, this is the little season because dispensationalism is also wrong. I see dispensationalism on one extreme and full preterism on the other. This interpretation of the little season is a blessing because it reconciles the need to read things non-literally and gives us a proper contextual way of reading it in the right historical context. my opinions.

There are two ways (or maybe even more) that we could look at this. If we are 'a holy nation right now' as believers; I could argue we are in the Holy City in Spirit, but not in the fulness of reality because as it is written, as we are in the body we are absent from the Lord. Or we can look at this by saying, we are in this realm that continues to have the sorcery, the lies, the abominations (Revelation 22:15) and we are not in the Holy City until we shed this earthly tabernacle. One of your main arguments for FP was that America is not in the Bible, but what if we have been deceived, not only about when we are but also about where we are? There are some great Christian KZbin channels speculating that America could actually be the land described in the Bible. Certain things just don’t add up, for instance mt. Zion in the Middle East is a hill whereas in America mt. Zion is a mountain. Certain trees growing only in America that are mentioned in the Bible (I’m sorry I can’t think of the name right now). Hundreds of pyramids in America. Moses couldn’t have walked for 40 years in Jordan but he could have in America. You have the land of milk and honey (California) and the gulf was named The Red Sea for a while. You have lots of other places too but check out some of Alpha Talkz videos for more in-depth information! I have serious brain fog when trying to recall facts about stuff. Deuteronomy continues: 17 Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’ 18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, so that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. 19 And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish. 20 Like the nations that the Lord makes to perish before you, uso shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God." ... My thoughts in context of America's "founding" as a people of which the only way would be Godly reverence and our Constitution as our way of life could be sustained. There's also plenty of evidence out there that we do in fact have some time missing from history and a lot of cover up. I suggest that everyone pray on this and don't try to explain everything away. There is a pretty large implication that everything in that Book needed to be completed in a very short time frame. This is why I personally lean towards what we call Full Preterism. Excellent video. You explained this so well, and I completely agree. I've been saying that the little season idea would make a really cool book or movie, but it's all speculation. It's fun to think about, and I spent quite a bit of time doing just that, but there is no biblical evidence.

I lean heavily towards "little season", but enjoyed your analysis. What are your thought on Isaiah 65: 17 thru end of Isaiah, and Rev 21 thru end of Rev, both indicate NEW HEAVEN, EARTH, AND JERUSALEM, while also talking of mortal humans there also. And Rev 21:3 - "now the dwelling of God is with men & he will live with them". Rev 21:24 - the nations will walk by the light of the lamb (no sun) and kings bring splendor. Rev 22: 2 - leaves of the tree are for healing of the nations. And Rev 21:1 says no more sea (in new earth). Thanks for your work!

Lots to unpack, so I'll start by offering my view on 'no more sea'...I think in the context of Daniel and Revelation, 'The Beasts' always come out of 'the sea'...so I am thinking that when John says there is 'no more sea', he is referring to the end of a 'one human nation' ruling the world in 'Beast-Like Fashion'. With the Spiritual Kingdom in place, and the church being on the earth, there will be no more of that...no more sea...no more 'sea beasts'.

@@defwebsolutions ...Great Question! I'm thinking it could be referring to the Roman/Jewish war of the First Century in the destruction of Israel. In Luke 21, Jesus says the 'armies will surround Jerusalem'. It appears to me that He is telling the first century saints that when the Roman Empire armies start surrounding Jerusalem to leave because that's when the 'fire will rain down' and Jerusalem will be destroyed. It's a view to consider.

It could be 250 years. That said, it is a long time to human beings and it doesn't seem that 'little' on it's face. Typically we wouldn't think that 250 years is a short season. But again, it could be possible. That said, we would not be sure when the little season began. (I am going to check out what Alan is saying as You recommended). So we would be left to a good amount of speculation, best as I can tell. But I don't mind saying again, that the little season could be 250 years. Thank You!

A season is 1/4 of a year, so 250 years makes sense applied to 1000. A short season could be more like 1/5 (or less). As a northern gardener, I must plant for a "short" growing season so that is my inner reference.

Looking forward to your next video- I am still in the short season. You can not make the 1000 years allegorical but then turn the “world without end” to be literal- it’s not consistent for me. But can you speak of what is next on Gods timeline? Are we just to continue living this way? It’s getting INCREDIBLY WICKED on this earth. I do not believe humans are this capable without a demon. I am still hopeful for the “New Heavens and New Earth” and I am taking everything literal. World without end could also mean a wasteland as in the beginning there was nothing.

Anyway, he's convinced it'll end in the 2040s...i can't remember the year. But you could discuss it with him. He's the one who first introduced the 'millenial reign is past' theory to us. I completely understand. The problem is that The Gospel of Matthew is not a 'symbolic from front to back book'. Revelation is. So having the same hermeneutical approach to both books is not going to work in my opinion. Revelation has 7 headed Sea Beasts and Dragon Talking Lambs, and fire breathing people. Matthew 24 is nothing like that. Matthew 24 is much more direct in language. Revelation is not...it's very symbolic; to take it literal is not (in my opinion) going to work.

I have come to some of the conclusions you have, but still don’t understand that in rev 20:8 it says the thousand years ended, then Satan is released. If thousands was just allegory, how does it have an end yet represent eternity? I don’t want to have to believe that everything is a conspiracy season crowd for me to believe revelation was completed up till rev 20 because there are thousands of years of history written on books (as opposed to AI articles and photos) that show Rome didn’t fall right away.. even Josephus continued on to write after he saw Angels in the clouds!…

I'm sorry, but with all the lovely comments praising your understanding, I have to say this. Your view on where we are on God's timeline is the most depressing notion I have ever listened to. How can all of Revelation be fulfilled, and the prophecies of Daniel, when the Lord has not wiped every tear from our eyes, or put an end to all sorrow and sin and suffering? And if I understand you correctly from just reading and scimming your other videos, you believe that it's not a question of saved or not saved, but of good and bad works. How can you say that? God puts in us the will to do good. Without Him, we are only evil, and we cannot understand, we cannot have faith in Jesus. It's through His work ALONE are we saved through faith in Christ, and through His work ALONE do we do good. But you say he judges us for the bad we have done.. but Jesus paid for ALL our sins' judgement. If I have incorrectly interpreted your understanding, please correct me. But if this is what you believe, it makes the least sense, and is the most depressing, and most importantly if I can say boldly, puts shame on the Lord - if this - THIS world we live in is the new heaven and earth, and THIS WILL NEVER END, the Lord God is not who He says He is, and he didn't do what He said He would do. And you remove the glory from Him, claiming we are judged for our sins, taking away the glory and credit from Christ, who ALONE takes our judgement, not us, through HIS WORK alone by His Holy Spirit. Let me ask you this - when you do good, or anyone does good, was that you? Was that of your will or your ability AT ALL? NO! The Lord gives us the will, as it says in Scripture. And He chooses us. And how can you pick and choose what is literal and what is not in the Bible? If it's clear through the discernment of the Holy Spirit that it's symbolic, it's symbolic, or literal, than literal. 1000 years sounds literal to me and I believe the Holy Spirit confirms it to me, as my heart aches with so much sorrow over the belief you have come to believe in. Please brother, ask the Lord for discernent and conviction of these beliefs you have adopted and ask Him to show you if this makes sense to Him. If this reality we are in is the final result the Lord wanted and intended, than He is not my Lord. But I know this is not it - I feel it with the power of the Holy Spirit giving me that hope. Where is our hope, if not for the inheritance he promised us? What if Satan's Little Season is our fleshly struggle between flesh and spirit? Ephesians 6. The Bible says alot sbout this. Certainly, churches or nations can fall into corruption too. Then, at some point, things get back on track. I dont know. There is that Petra classic song "Jeckyll and Hyde".

My take upon this is, following Jesus' 40 day fast, Satan was bound, and he was loosed again in order for him to use Judas to guide the Sanhedrin to Gethsemane, as they _could not identify Jesus properly otherwise._ Satan continued his work within the disciples, so that they did not prevent Judas from committing suicide in his grief, and Satan continues to persecute the brethren from within the modern Christian church - that is the first place I encountered Satan, at the age of seven, after having heard the call, and come to learn more of my Father. Here is why: one person can hear the gospel, but not marry the intellect with understanding, and will say "Lord, lord", but not follow Jesus' Teaching, and other will embrace it, and both will be found within the modern church .. not every Christian I have ever met was completely under Satanic influence, but so many are, and many are under demonic oppression on account of their failure in belief: God IS Good, but they doubt, and that gives the adversary a point of access. This had to be this way until the good news of the Kingdom (the actual gospel) had been spread to the whole Earth. Now that that is done, Satan can be opposed by the faithful, and transformed from spirit to physical essence - turned to stone, as Lucifer was in the time before. When opposed, Satan convicts itself. Opposition in spirit is a softening force, Conviction is a hardening force: the physical manifestation is a literal hardening of the heart - calcification - and this occurs in the physical brain of those possessed of Satan as well. These are the physical manifestations that result from opposition and conviction. A parallel that makes more sense to me than maybe others, but I'll float it anyway, on the off chance: When an area is under management of a Godly man, the soil softens, it becomes rich and filled with life, and the sand burr and goat head will not grow there .. but their seed will harden, and become like a stone, so that in years to come, should man fail in his duties as given him by the Creator in the beginning, the pain he feels upon stepping on these will serve to remind him - a little prick to the conscience, to guide, but not to torment. God made everything for Good Purpose, remember? Even Satan .. but the restoration cannot take place under the spirit of condemnation, so he must be opposed in this age.

I like your channel very much as a new viewer having watched several of your videos already :-) You are also very nice and knowledgeable which makes your teachings such a joy and I really appreciate that 😀👍 I do have some questions about some things from the Satan's Little Season point of view I hold. I recently heard on another channel from the full Preterist point of view, that for them the new heaven and new earth already exists, yet I don't see anywhere in the bible where it says the old and new Earth with exist simultaneously 😕 And the bible is very clear "Then I saw a new heaven and new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea." Revelation 21:1. Also where does it say there is still preaching going on during this time when the old earth has passed away and all prophecies in Revelation have been completed? The only preaching for the purposes of Salvation from what the bible says, is on the old earth before it is destroyed or passes away (ceases to exist) and before the appearing of the New Earth. And one final thought for now is aren't we supposed to be dwelling in the presence of the Lord, not figuratively but literally after everything in Revelation has been completed?? To the best that I can tell we aren't spending eternity with Christ in his presence yet at this time. Hello Brother! Thank You for the kind words; and the great questions! So for Your first inquiry, I would suggest that the 'New Heavens and New Earth' is allegory for the New Covenant under God in Christ. Keeping in mind that Revelation is very symbolic of course, ask Yourself 'would God need a literal New Heaven?' I don't think so; nothing rusts or decays in Heaven. So I would sight Isaiah 1:1-2 as an example where God is speaking to Old Covenant Israel and calls them 'Heavens & Earth'. Check it out and give that some consideration. Now the 2nd inquiry: I actually think that all the Gospel preaching was completed in the 1st Century: Colossians 1:5-6 and Colossians 1:23 - So I actually think that we are supposed to preach by operating according to the Royal Law (Love God and Others as self) and invite people to God's grace: Revelation 22:17 - And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. As for Your third inquiry I would put forth 2nd Corinthians 5:6 - knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: - When You are in the body You walk by faith, not by sight...(2nd Corinthians 5:7)...Eventually, You will be in His presence (2nd Corinthians 5:8) when You are absent from this body...Hope this is helpful Bro!

Different Preterists have different views on 'punishment'...the majority I think believe that they simply 'cease to exist'...once they die...they die; I don't agree with that position myself; I see it more as a 'debtors prison'; the bigger the debt, the bigger the repayment'; I think that is what the Judgment Seat of Christ is for. But again, some Preterists believe differently on that. As for mankind; I think most Preterists believe in continuing ages - Isaiah 45:18 - For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited...Thanks again Bro!

One could also say that the earth would always be inhabited as there are plenty of people right now inhabiting it, even though we don't yet have our new resurrected bodies, which leads to another point regarding that as after we received those at the final resurrection then we will never die. And believers and saints of God will always dwell within the new heaven and new earth forever & ever! So that's another reason why those who are on the SLS side would take that view as we are not in our new glorified bodies yet. As it also says "it is appoint man once to die and then Judgement". I've always pondered Hebrews 9:27 since it is clear that Lazarus was raised from the dead, and so he died twice...not once; and several others were raised in Scripture, and therefore they all died twice; So when I read Hebrews, it appears that the writer is speaking to the sacrifice of Christ and comparing it to the temple sacrifices; and the other part of that Scripture that I always ponder is that it doesn't really say what the 'judgment' is; it appears to be very 'open'. Fair question. I think the 'commandments of God' is not 'the law of Moses'. So 1st John 3:23 says: "And this is His command; to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. Nothing about keeping the law of Moses. I think if the Revelation writer meant the 'law of Moses' he would have written that. But the Old Covenant was never meant to be for infinity and beyond. Deuteronomy 18:15 - "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;" - They were called to listen to someone else...the New Covenant Prophet. Also in Jeremiah 31:31-32 - "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt"... Notice it says "Not According to" that Old Covenant. So it's a different covenant. So part of the 'commandments of God' was to listen to the new Mediator (Jesus) of the New Covenant. Hopefully that helps explain the position Bro!

I would define the Old covenant as when we sinned we had a sin offering to cleanse us and now when we sin we have Yeshua who shed his blood once and for all for the forgiveness of sin. Sin is defined as breaking Yahweh's commandments. The New covenant is that Yeshua would write his Father's laws in our hearts and when we sin we no longer need to bring a sin offering to a Temple to be forgiven. Romans 7:7

Hence why it says (as you mentioned) that the Father would write the laws on our hearts. Thou shall not covet is indeed a law that stands, and breaking that law can also lead to several other sins like stealing, lying, coercion etc...So we certainly agree on this. But we must reconcile Galatians 3:10 & 13 which says the 'law is a curse'...Galatians 3:19 says that the 'law was added for transgressions'..."Until"...until when?? Until 'the seed' would come which is Christ Jesus. So going back to Romans 7:7; I agree that 'no coveting' stands as a law because of what Paul eventually says in Romans 13:9 where he repeats thou shall not covet and ends that verse with: 'if there be any other commandment it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, love thy neighbor as self'.

I would say what you're missing is that it's not a whole theory based on Rev22. That's just where we would be on the timeline. You're missing Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13. I appreciate your respect for various views. i just want to say that of all the people I know who believe we are living in the Little Season, none believe that the thousand years Satan is bound is literal due to the phrase being repeated numerous times in the following passages. All I have spoken to and know personally believe it is a literal thousand years because it is the only time-frame that makes sense, allowing Christ and his saints to reign on the earth for the millennial reign. You are actually the first person I have heard who said 'Little Season' believers believe the 1,000 reign is literal because of the repetition. I'm not sure where you heard that. As far as I know, most do not subscribe to that.

This is a great question! I've heard a few pretty good views on this that differ from mine. That said, my take at this point is as follows: 'dogs' was a name that was often used, (especially by the Jews) to depict someone who was 'unclean'. For example, in 2nd Peter 2:22 the writer quotes Proverb 26:11 - like a dog that returns to its vomit, So is a fool who repeats his foolishness. This describes someone who constantly returns to inappropriate and riotous living. Hence, they are 'unclean'. Paul uses this type of term for inappropriate living and behavior as well.

The problem is the little season in the Bible is briefly mentioned, so it can be an indeterminate amount of time, it just has to be much less than 1,000 years. I would say it's going to be complete within 50 years. As far as allegory, I think it is clear what is allegorical and what is not. Full preterism seems to be contradicting God`s words on multiple occasions, which suggests it is a false doctrine of men, when it does that. I would highly recommend looking in depth into the promises, that God has made to His people, that they would experience after the return of Jesus Christ, and then ask yourself, if they could have been fulfilled in the first century AD? Something that hasn`t happened yet. Death is still present in our physical realm. We are still mortal. Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." The White Throne Judgement has to be a future event, since death hasn`t been destroyed for good, making full preterism contradicting the Word of God once more. Isaiah 62:2 "And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name." The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ had physical consequences for the whole earth. God has promised His people rulership over the nations. The bridge between the Spiritual and physical was clearly manifested during it, because that is exactly what God has promised to the ones that He found worthy, after the return of Jesus Christ, our Savior, sometime after the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD. To say that His Millennial Reign was only spiritual and short in nature, is to nullify some of the promises that God has made. What about the verse about the time of the millenial being where it says if a man should die of 100 years of age, it will be as if a baby had died? This is saying people during christs millenial reign will live extraordinarily longer lives than we do now. Right? How would you interpret that verse? No worries at all. These are great questions! That Isaiah passage is unique; after all, it still talks about people dying...that doesn't sound like an infinity heavenly body, does it? So this would take quite some time to unpack. And it is a tough passage no doubt. But I will say that people are living longer lives now compared to the First Century. I have an Aunt that is going to be 101 this year! As for the people 'outside the city'...I get the sense that is painting the same picture as the Prodigal Son. The Prodigal was 'dead' when he was living riotously; he became alive when he came out of it. As for 'outer darkness'; that sounds to me like it's people who are far away from the prime spot; the 'worst seats in the house' type of thing. It doesn't sound anything like fire or burning. And I can't help but think that much of this is imagery; because I don't know about You, but I certainly wouldn't want to look outside my window and have a view of abominable things. That doesn't sound heavenly. I don't know if this answers everything; but I hope it helps.

Most folks in the 'short season' camp say that the season is about 200 to 250 years. Personally, I've never heard that the 'short season' could be 1000 years or more. This is a first for me. I don't know what 'research' I could do from a biblical standpoint to make a 'short season' a thousand years or more. No Scripture would support that position. (The number 1000 on the other hand is regularly used allegorically in Scripture). And I'm assuming the 'research' you speak of would be outside Scriptures. And if I have no start time, or limit to how long the 'season' is, unlike when Jesus says 'this generation'...then I'm not sure what the point of that research would be. Thanks again!

Have you considered that the thousand year period was the Judean dynasty from approx 1000 B. C. to 4 B.C.? The Dragon Herodian serpent /locust dynasty overthrew the Judean dynasty. They ruled a short season filling up their measure of SIN until Jesus destroyed these enemies and the last enemy DEATH. All got their power from God who gave it to the Romans.

This is a fair statement. I think we are physically in the realm of both good and bad...That's where we are in my opinion. While we are here, we are in the Holy City when we operate in the Spirit of God which is love. Revelation 22:15 says that outside the holy city are: 'dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Galatians 4:26 says that Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. We are currently physically below the heavenly jerusalem. Spiritually, we (should be) in it already. That's how I see it...

Why would Satan be released to change the timeline change the story alter the Bible created thousands of different Christian subgroups, convince girls that they can be boys and vice versa, fake history fake food fake healthcare fake government, the evidence that we are in the season of deception is everywhere! If this isn’t that time, I think it would be unimaginable and impossible for those people to have any chance! The kingdom of heaven is new earth. Revelation 21,22, Isaiah 65,66 and Ezekiel 37-48. It's a separate earth from this one. Matthew 25:31-34 says when Jesus returned with his angels, he sat on his throne and gathered the nations before him. At his return his kingdom was set up on new earth and that's where he's reigned since.

That said, I don't know anyone who doesn't claim to 'take the text for what it is'; but clearly these texts require interpretation, especially Revelation which is hyper-symbolic; and in Matthew 13, Jesus uses lots of symbolic language, and loads of parables. It's not always as simple as 'context' when bringing forth the interpretation of these Scriptures.

The Kingdom of God would be victorious over the Nations that held God’s people (Israel) in bondage. This is why no one till our time saw full preterism as a viable option. One of the biggest mistakes full preterism and partial preterism makes is identifying Mystery Babylon as Jerusalem which I know sounds like it makes sense on the surface but if you really pay attention to the details and take the time to do the research outside of Don Preston and Ken Gentry you will see that all roads lead to Rome.

I don't know that I said the 'little season' was exactly 40 years...that said, I think the point I was trying to make was that if 'this generation' and the 'time is at hand' is 40 years or less, I can't help but think that the 'little season' should be quite a bit shorter than 250 years. This is a fair question. Allow me to share a Scripture; 1st John 3:2-3 - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this "Hope" in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. I think that same hope is what we have today. Keep in mind that the Kingdom that God established in Christ back in the first century does not come with observation and is not of this world. So our hope is that as we love others as ourselves here in earth as children of God; when we are done this journey, 'we will see Him as He is and we will be like Him'. I think this is a great hope that we have.

The stone that strikes the statue's feet is the coming of Christ (Jesus emphasizes this moment in time by renaming Simon to Peter = rock) The two mountains... 1000 years uphill = Abraham to David/Solomon (peak) 1000 years downhill = David/Solomon = peak to Coming of Christ 54AD = time of the end = Nero (reigned 54 - 68 AD) 1000 years uphill (reign) = peak = 1054AD = Satan released = Great Schism of 1054. 1000 years downhill (Satan's short season) 4 seasons exist. Satan's short season = 1/4 of the time, 1/2 the second mountain. Jesus basically revealing the quarter of two mountains, or the half of one mountain. Essentially revealing the 'size' of the mountain for us. 🙂 Evidence of Satan's release = Great Schism of 1054 AD

I hope I didn't come across as saying 'guessing is wrong'. I apologize if I did. I meant to communicate that there is no 'range' to the estimations. For example, Jesus said 'this generation'. Is a generation, 20 yrs, 30, 40, 70? These are all in a 'range'...no one would normally think that a generation is 500 years. So guessing, and estimating is not wrong; it may become 'out of range' though, if we have nothing to anchor ourselves to. Hope that helps convey what I was meaning to communicate.

I think of all the things in Christianity that can rub, the one thing that gets my goat is the word believe. People misapply it all the time. Believe means you stand strong. Unwavering. It defines the way you conduct your life. It is not the same as having an opinion which is malleable and can change at the drop of a hat. I don't believe any of the models, because I don't actually 100% know nor does it impact my life. It's an opinion I currently hold.. The full preterist people, (and another thing. I don't like labels, but those people), are most likely to be generous towards people with other points of view. That alone tells me that most likely, it is the correct assessment. Or as close as we can get. They're willing to say I don't know. Or I think maybe. But the word believe? Needs to be thrown out. Because the truth is, you don't know. It depends on how God wants to use it. When it speaks of the dogs and evil outside of the city, I don't believe it is speaking of the New Jerusalem, I believe it is speaking of the dimension that the devil will be held for eternity. Outside...this dimension. Jesus said he saw the devil thrown from Heaven, (speaking presently of the past) therefore, the devil came to earth when Jesus was on earth, (remember he was tempted of the devil in the desert) then he was given his powers to deceive the world when Jesus left the earth. He says he could not be here while the devil was here. So I believe Jesus did reign 1000 years with the 144.000 as it says, but not on this earth. He says he had a place prepared for him in his Father's house. And it is called paradise. I believe what we call spiritual, is the same as another dimension. Not of this physical world. Just my thoughts.

Your 1st issue being unable to tell when the lil'season started isn't an issue at all. Just look at how good the memory hole and history revisionism works. Colonialism is seen as anything else but ordinary human activity at the time, that lead directly to a whole continent jumping 6k years in technology, and unprecedented 300 years of relative peace in the region. I can indeed understand this perspective. These are fair questions. And Yes, the 'pun' was fully received and again, very fair. These questions are so deep that I couldn't give them complete justice here in a short answer. But I can at least share this. Without the 'opposition' to 'good'...then 'good' could never really be understood. I see purpose in all of the design...including the challenges. Maybe that's why God tells us to love even our enemies. Maybe that's why Jesus says that God is kind to the evil and the unthankful. Maybe that's why God doesn't obliterate the evil. "a thousand years" is not the same as "one thousand years". According to Rev 1:1 the entire book was given to John is signs or symbols. There's no exegetical reason to abandon that in perhaps one of the most symbolic chapters in the entire book! "little season" advocates seem to do the same thing with the time-statements as futurists do. "Near" "shortly" "at hand" "this generation" no longer have meaning and neither does "a little season".
