Brother, you have no idea how much of a God send you are to someone who has suffered from serious ptsd from a little boy listening his whole life , night after night from preachers hanging off pulpits telling me I don’t know God and I’m going to burn I. This lake of fire forever. Been a long road of recovery from drugs and jail, rehabs, broken relationships, never quit having my faith in my creator and that he truly loved me, and he’s using you to give my head and spirit peace after all these decades. Thanks brother.

There’s so much truth to what you just said! I spent 5 decades, off and on, in the fire/brimstone-preaching churches and tried very hard to put together the futurist versions of eschatology and ended up leaving those denominations. Looking for the next one to try, I could never find one, which I believe was by God’s design. He has taught me Himself more than I ever thought possible and brought me to my current understanding of the Roman-Jewish war of 70 a.d. I believe when Jesus ascended to the throne, He began ruling and still rules…He is over everything that happens, whether we think it good or bad, to fulfill and accomplish His plans and purposes. Therefore, Jesus is Lord, King, Master, Savior, God and our High Priest…keep walking with Him, brother, and never turn back. Many blessings to you ❤️🙏❤️

Most likely we are in the Lake of Fire right now, Revelation 20:14. Unlike the fire that comes from Satan, the fire that comes from our Creator is Refiner's Fire which only purifies and cleanses, and does not destroy. The proof is Moses' burning bush that was burning and not consuming, and the tongues of fire that rested on the disciples on the day of Pentecost. The verb ''basanos'' that has been translated as “torment” can also be translated as "birth pains", Rev. 12:2. Also, it is used for one “sick of the palsy, grievously tormented (Matt. 8:6) while for the disciples' ship in Galilee, it is translated as “tossed with waves” (Matt. 14:24). It is translated by the word “toiling” in Mark 6:48, and by the word “vexed'” in speaking of Lot (2Pet. 2:8). The original idea of this verb "basanos" is “to put to the test by rubbing on a touchstone", which means “to question by applying some test or torture to discover whether true or not.” In the old version of the Strong concordance, the first definition of "basons" is touchstone, (a dark stone used in testing metals). However, they don't explain to you what touchstone is, and just behind it, they put torment and torture. In the next edition of Strongs, produced by Zonderven's publishing, under the same word "basanos", Strongs number 931, they have torment, severe pain, and torture, torments. The translators and editors of the Bible, have completely eliminated the fact that we are dealing with a touchstone, something used to determine the value of gold. All that is to hide that the true meaning is to be tested and refined as gold in the Lake of Divine Purification, and not tortured in the Lake of Fire. The true meaning of being thrown into the Lake of Fire is to be tested as metal that looks like gold to find whether it is real gold or not.

Now, I believe that we are in God's Kingdom and when we die, we go to be with our Father immediately, which is Satan/death being defeated. No more sitting in Hades waiting. Consider this folks: When James & John wanted to call fire on the Samaritans for rejecting Jesus, what was Jesus's reaction? Did He say "Gee that's a great idea young brothers, I now empower you to torch those Samaritan scoundrels that spurned my grace, yeah go ahead and barbecue them"? Not quite. Instead He rebuked them & gave them a verbal beatdown and said (paraphrase liberty) "Are you guys nuts? You don't even know the kind of spirit that's motivating you. The Son of Man did not come to destroy mens lives but to save them". The orthobox teaches the first version & not at all what Jesus said. You can feel the passion & tone of Jesus's answer to those two brothers. Now if Jesus was appalled at the notion of torching that Samaritan town, how much more disgusted do you think He is when His so-called ambassadors of today paint His character & plan to save as a cruel joke on humanity where they teach that the overwhelming majority of humanity is sentenced to an eternity of roasting in flames??? God doesn't torture forever. He doesn't cause gratuitous pain & suffering. He's kind. But He's also severe in His judgements. He wounds to eventually heal. His discipline is not fun. Trust me. I know from experience. It's painful, it hurts, it downright sucks. But it's necessary because "When your judgements are abroad in the earth, the inhabitants learn righteousness. "That's the goal. To transform unrighteous wicked men into pure righteous men. And the purifying agent is God's type of fire. Peace.

@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 21 күн бұрын
That may be a 'drilling fact'...but it's not Scripture. I know someone who dug into the ground to make a 'well' for water...should I assume that is the 'river in Revelation'? Clearly the answer is no. The 'lake of fire' appears to be allegorical for the destruction of Ancient Israel.

Thanks Shade. That makes a lot of sense (coming from a preterist view myself), I just have a sincere question: What about “the abyss”? mentioned in the first few verses of Genesis. Isn’t that related to “the tartarus” or “underworld” referenced in the New Testament? There’s a reference as well in Philipians 2:5-11 where Paul says that even “under the earth” there will be entities bowing before the majesty of Christ. So I’ve thought for a while that, that would certainly be related to the abyss (or “hell”) mentioned in Genesis. I would REALLY appreciate your reply on this. Thanks! and warm regards from Mexico City!
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic Күн бұрын
Hi There! Thank You for you question...and all the way from Mexico City! That is fantastic. The word 'hammayim' means 'the water or the waters'. So I don't see 'abyss' nor 'tartarus' in Genesis. And if we look at Revelation, we can see that 'waters' means 'peoples, tongues and nations'. That's in Revelation 17:15. So if you go with literal interpretation, it's water not hell. If you go with allegorical interpretation, it's nations. As for Paul's reference to 'under the earth'; I think he is referring to those departed spirits who were in the grave or the 'abode of the dead' waiting for the Christ and for the White Throne Judgement of the first century. Hope this helps!

Pure brilliance, once again my friend. Thank you for helping us connect these prophesies from the "OT" with the fulfillment of more familiar ones in the "NT". Question: why do you use the KJV? Is it a personal preference or a textual issue?

I tend to use the OKJV because I know that there are some believers that consider it the 'only one we should be using'. @@ShadeStoneMusicOh ok, rare to see that sort of humility to appease others misguided views. I think though, if you even only changed one KJV's Onlyist's mind- it could be worth it. I prefer Youngs Literal but since its not very popular I also use the KJV. I'm glad you use the KJV! Not very many teachers in preterism use it. I wonder if that's because Matt 24:3, 1 Cor 10:11,etc the KJV uses "world" and not "age". I do believe this has caused much confusion over the past few centuries.

Thank you for sharing your opinion & teaching on this.I remember asking a pastor over 45 years ago why a loving God would create a race to send the majority of it into eternal torment as scripture states narrow is the way to eternal life & few are those that find it! We did not ask to be created so does that seem just? That's for one lifetime on earth as it is appointed for man to die & then the judgement! That's when I still had critical thinking before being brainwashed & indoctrinated by my church who showed their true colours when I had some tribulation as U would call it & could not tithe! I am so glad I left after 30 years church organist I have gone back to my manuscript now & just worship Him my own way! I am so relieved to be away from it all even though I am alone. Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in their system. (wheat) One Gospel: Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. Great questions! I see the judgment of 'the living' as those who believed in Christ and followed His way...and I see the judgement of the 'dead' as those who did not accept Christ or His way. Much like when the Prodigal was living riotously and he was called 'dead'; he wasn't physically dead...he was 'spiritually/covenantaly dead. As for unbelievers...I get the sense that they will be positioned differently. For example, Revelation 3:9 says that the 'synagogue of Satan' will be worshipping at the feet of the Saints. Clearly they still exist, but they are positioned in lower rank because they 'reaped what they sowed'. Hope this helps!

It's a real shame how "most" churches and church people put either no or very little significance on the impact that the destruction of the temple and the city of Jerusalem. And indeed also, the destruction of the surrounding towns and villages in Israel by the Roman armies between circa 65-70 AD, had on the history of the Jewish people. Also its utter importance regarding Christian theology - it is so deeply connected to Jesus' prophecy and yet just seems to be a footnote in Christian and Jewish study. Again, that's too bad. Well done, once again - your scripture references all make complete sense. What a mess, modern day evangelicals have made in their interpretation of end times writings. One, they were 'asleep' as Paul seems to refer to them as; or, it could be they were conscious, but hopeful knowing that their King would be coming; either way...a 'state of rest'. That said, I believe the waiting period is over. Why? Because prior to the completed work of God in Christ, the Heavenly Jerusalem was closed to mankind. After the completed work of God in Christ (in the first century), it was opened by Christ who went into the 'holy of holies'. Do the terms like: "The Sun shall not give it's light and the Moon will turn to blood" Mean the Light of God or Torah will be removed and the High priests who are supposed to reflect that light will die? I'm just trying to follow your logic on the use of metaphoric symbology here. Epic message Bro-Cephus! (Brother-Rock)
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 2 ай бұрын
I think this is how we are to think of these idioms. So for example...In Genesis 37 Joseph tells Jacob (Israel) about his dream..."I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me." When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, "What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you? As You can see, Jacob and his wife are the 'sun and the moon'...the other brothers (tribes) are the stars; so if there is a Scripture that says the 'sun' no longer gives light...could that mean that Israel is going to be destroyed? When the 'stars fall'...could that be 'the tribes of Israel' falling? I believe that is how The Book of Revelation is to be discerned. It's a 'signified' book...it says so in Revelation 1:1. No pressure...but I do have a 'Revelation Series'...the videos are long because it's a difficult book. But it may help to understand how I personally see this unique book. Hope this helps!

What do you think happens to non believers when they die? Also, one other question, our God is a loving God, I believe that, but when I first read the OT I struggled with all the killings and wiping out of other peoples including children. And other occasions where one man's sin resulted in his whole house being killed. I've kind of put it in the 'His ways are higher than our ways' box and so far left it at that. What's your take on it?
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 3 күн бұрын
I get the sense that they are positioned outside the kingdom. For example 'outer darkness' is something that Jesus speaks of. Also a 'debtor's prison' is another analogy that is used. As for some of the extremely uncomfortable things happening in the OT...I think often times situations were either far worse than we could imagine to warrant such harshness...or...since grace & truth didn't come until Christ; they were doing things they weren't supposed to be doing...at the end of the 'book of Judges', it says that 'every man did that which was right in his own eyes.' So I read that entire book (for example) from the angle that very little was done properly.
@mopo7
@mopo7 3 күн бұрын
@@ShadeStoneMusic Thanks for the reply bro. I mean if we are already living outside of the kingdom right now where are the non believers going when they die? Surely this belief implies some kind of repeated 'reincarnation' of their souls (which is unbiblical) until they get it right and believe on Jesus and then enter the kingdom... or am I missing something? Re the OT, yes it probably was very grim how they were living, but the Book of Ruth was set during the time of Judges, and the characters in that book seemed very caring and honourable. Don't think there's an easy answer to it for us tbh, hence I just trust in the Lord as He knows best.

@@mopo7 ...No problem at all. I would say that we can't be sure that there aren't 'outer courts' in the next realm and/or life. I do think that Christians have a tendency to believe that 'all believers' are getting the same prize and position. That in my opinion is also very unbiblical. 2nd Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. There are also believers that get a worse punishment than unbelievers. Jesus says it Himself in Luke 12:46-48 - He will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, who knew his lord's will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes; but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. Most Christians aren't fitting this into their understanding of Scripture.

Interesting topic. The only thing that i would ask you is what is your concept of "hell" then, asopposed to the place that unbelievers go after the final judgement? Do you believe they are just destroyed and are no more? Like total annihilation? There are some who believe that the unsaved will go to "hell" where they will burn in torment and gnashing of teeth, forever, and then there are some who believe they go to "hell" to be punished for their sins, for a time (depending on the amount and severity of their sins) but then once that time lapses, they are permanently consumed and just cease to exist (annihilation).
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 4 ай бұрын
Great Question! And Thank You for Your comment and bringing up this topic. I personally don't see and eternal torture chamber as one of the options. Some go with 'annihilation as You mentioned, but that has some problems as well. For example, when I see Daniel 12:2, it talks about a 'resurrection to shame'. This appears to be a lower position; a demotion; not annihilation; Also, Jesus says in Luke 6:35 that God is kind to the evil and the unthankful. 'Annihilation' doesn't fit this description either. There are some that say that people simply die and cease to exist...they are not resurrected at all. That seems a little more plausible and possible, but again, that seems to fly in the face of the above Scriptures and others as well. So I lean towards the position that 'all' go meet their Maker, and are rewarded accordingly. The picture that Paul lays out in Colossians 3:25 and 2nd Corinthians 5:10. Thanks for allowing me to give You my thoughts on this subject!

But because it says that God's mercy endures forever... And it says that the 'synagogue of satan' will worship at the feet of the Saints... For this reason and more, I am getting the sense that there are spiritual consequences, but that debt is not one of infinity...long time maybe...but not infinity... Hence the term, 'resurrection to shame'. But then it says in Isaiah 25:8: He will take away the disgrace of His people The combination of Mercy and Justice is what I see. Hope this helps!

Lazarus and the rich man, anyone?

@ShadeStoneMusic Ай бұрын
Fair question. I did do a video on this passage, in case you are interested in checking that out. That said, allow me to offer some thoughts. Was Lazarus a believer or a righteous man? We don't know, he is simply really 'very poor'. Was the Rich man a believer or non-believer? Again, we don't know. So then what is this all about? If you read Luke 16 from verses 14 to 18, you will see that this parable is directed toward the Pharisees specifically. From Luke 15 to Luke 16 there are 4 parables in a row. So this I would suggest is a parable as well. The last line (in my opinion) points prophetically to the resurrection of Lazarus...and perhaps Jesus Himself. The point of the parable is to say that these Pharisees wouldn't believe even if someone was resurrected from the dead. And that ended up happening.

Great Question Brother Bob! So allow me to show You verse 32 in the same chapter: Matthew 25:32 - 'And before him shall be gathered all NATIONS: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats' I put the word 'Nations' in all caps so that we take note of it. This is not an 'individual judgement of individual people'. This is a Nation Judgement. So You are seeing some 'fire' language because (in the context of what was going to happen in the first century in the Roman/Jewish war); there were going to be some Nations that would be blessed (sheep nations) for doing good and some Nations that would get a severe punishment (goat nations) for their wicked ways. This is not only First Century context (in my opinion), but it is clear that this is a National Judgement upon the earth. Hope this helps Bro!

Thank You for Your honesty and great questions! I do intend to take on the 'Second Death' subject as we move along this difficult Chapter. In short for You to consider, I think there are two deaths in Revelation. One death is dying 'in Christ'; the other death (in the lake of fire) is dying outside of Christ. In the context of Revelation, that would be the unbelievers in the first century that ended up in the Roman/Jewish war under the 'wrath of God' in judgement because they didn't believe His Son and persecuted His Saints. They went into the 'second death' instead of dying in and/or for Christ.

I need to hold off on this one. I definitely see a full preterist eschatology but I don't see the evidence from this that there isn't still a literal hell and lake of fire. I hope you are right. So, I assume you conclude that all the testimonies of people claiming they saw hell and people they knew there are all lies or very bad dreams? My dad, who is not someone to make a story up and was hesitant to believe anything supernatural or spiritual, saying he had an experience of hell after me witnessing to him for years, was not telling the truth? By the way, he finally got saved after that encounter. I am open and do not intend to be critical.
@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 3 ай бұрын
This is a fair position to take my Brother. Certainly take Your time with all things Scriptural. That said... I see no precedence for a 'literal hell' in the Old Testament; Also, it appears to me all the 'fire' language that is used across the board with Scripture is always pointing to a judgment on an earthly nation. Example: It rained fire & brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah. Clearly an earthly judgment. As for the experience Your Dad had. I believe he really had some kind of experience. I see no reason not to believe him. That said, the writer of Revelation had a lot of frightening visions as well; locusts and 7-headed sea beasts and dragons etc...Daniel was also horrified at the vision of the Beasts that he saw. So ultimately, a frightening vision, dream or experience doesn't equate to a permanent dwelling place for unforgiven souls. Some people have had 'near death experiences' and go to heaven; often times they aren't believers; most of them come back with different visions; are they lying? I don't think so; not all of them. So, best as I can tell, the visions or experiences are real, but ultimately they help these folks become (through fear or bliss) better people; maybe that's the ultimate purpose for the experiences. Jesus said that God is kind to the evil and the unthankful in Luke 6:35. The Scriptures say that God delights in His mercies. These Scriptures (and more) lead me to believe that God is kinder than many often think. I have a video called 'Mercy over Anger'. You might want to check that out. Something to consider.

@ShadeStoneMusic
@ShadeStoneMusic 4 ай бұрын
Great question! If we look at Luke 16, You will see there are 4 parables before this text. Then, in Luke 16:14 You will note that the Pharisees 'heard' those parables and were 'covetous' and they 'derided' Jesus. He gives them a bit of a scolding, and then rolls into what I call a 'prophetic parable' spoken to let the Pharisees know that their arrogance will prevent them from believing Jesus is Messiah, even though He will raise Lazarus from the dead, and He Himself will be raised from the dead. Luke 16:31 (in my opinion) is the main conclusion of the text. To help further my point, I think You will see that there is no mention of belief or unbelief in the parable; simply the rich guy was indifferent to the poor man; it doesn't even say that the poor man was a believer or a good man or anything of that nature. So the imagery given in the parable is not (in my opinion) intended for 'heaven and hell' doctrine. I think the text is to point out the dark hearts of the Pharisees of the time and how they are going to end up in the Roman/Jewish war (aka: lake of fire) because of their dark hearts, self justification, and unbelief.

I love how You worded this question! I do believe there are 'spiritual consequences' in their resurrection. Daniel 12:2 seems to point to 'shame' as part of that positional judgement. @@ShadeStoneMusic Hmm. We must take into account that the Old Testament was written in Hebrew. The two occasions where Daniel uses the word sea, are rendered Yam. No arguments there, but in the book of Revelation two different words are employed. Hudor in Revelation 17:15 is waters, describing peoples. But later in chapter 21 when we're told there'll be no more sea, the word thalassa is employed, deriving from hals, or salt. This indicates actual sea.

You said there is no lake of fire in the OT. I’m surprised you don’t see the connection with Daniel 7: Daniel 7:9-10 (ESV) 9 “As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. 10 A stream of fire issued and came out from before him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened. Revelation 20:12-15 (ESV) 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Yes, this is also a good one! I considered this Scripture, but I didn't want the video to be too long. As You are pointing out, the 'fire' is from God in the heavenly realm. You can see the 'judgement'. Who is getting judged in the Book of Daniel? Clearly, the judgement is upon the nation of Old Covenant Israel. Therefore, the 'lake of fire' speaks to the judgement upon them in the First Century. PS - What I meant by 'you won't see the lake of fire in the Old Testament' is that you won't find the literal 'lake of fire' stated that way; therefore, you find it only by seeing the 'fire-like' judgement of a nation in the Old Testament, and therefore that's what it is in the New Testament.

Adversary/satan is not in the LOF. But rather is loosed & causing war & chaos all over the earth. What is there to look forward to? God ending this little season & throwing satan in the LOF. Full preterism actually teaches that satan will never be thrown in the LOF cuz they teach that evil & opposition to God will continue to exist on earth throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity where God will not conquer the adversary but let it live forever on earth breeding antichrist governments for infinity. This teaching denies the scripture that Paul wrote saying Christ must reign till He puts down all opposing rule & authorities. This teaching denies that God will fulfill His oath that His glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The general concept of preterism is correct. Namely that Christ returned in 70ad and destroyed the city & temple & ended the old covenant age. But they stop there & say it's all over, that the fullness of God's plan has been consummated. That is not true. Christ still has work to do in the new covenant age. That work is the subduing of the nations. As of right now, all opposing rule & authority has not been put down. But it will be soon enough when God ends the little season. Peace!

I have heard this perspective before. That said, if we ignore the Old Testament language, then the 'Lake of Fire' becomes 'a guess' and/or something that it is not. Ok so, You're opening a huge can of worms with this, but I think it's okay to have different interpretations as long as that person is a true brother or sister in christ and are doing their best to interpret something. We can all learn from each other.And if we're closed off it makes it difficult to gather enough information that God may be sending each individual person to help us all gain a more complete picture of the narrative. However, I feel that because of all the large differences so many of us have, it's proof of a grand multitude of deceptions deliberately used to divide and conquer many of us Christians. If we can't figure out where we are in the timeline, we're in danger of more deceptions and so that's why i feel we're in the little season. To me, Satan is very busy creating fake narratives and a world stage repeating his old tactics and it's very apparent all around us. Could it be just people doing it maybe, but there's a grand intelligence behind it and worldly worship of lucifer that leads me to believe he's here and orchestrating it. Like i said before, how can an army surround a camp or city if it's not a literal place? And how can God rein fire down from heaven unless the city is not in heaven and isn't below heaven? @@SheepAmongG.O.A.T ...I don't mind saying that 'Eternal Conscious Torment' sounds like a 'torture chamber' to me. But if you see it differently, I am certainly willing to listen. As for those claims of 'seeing hell'...the issue I have with all near death experiences is that the testimonies are inconsistent. I've seen testimonies from atheists, agnostics, new agers, and yes, christians saying a variety of different claims and views and experiences they had when they went to the 'heavenly realm'. So those 'heavenly testimonies' aren't reliable in my opinion...because they all say different things. @@ShadeStoneMusic Yeah I thought the same thing so I asked myself what is the differentiating factor that separates them and decided it's the visions. If you deleted all the 'near death' and just looked at visions (like Bill Weise) it gets more streamlined. Joel and Acts both talk about young men seeing visions and old men dreaming. Regardless of who or when that was directed to I do take visions and dreams serious. Near death like you said I don't. There is something off there. All I can say is they definitely believe what they're saying. Anyway if there is no real consequence to sin then sin wins at the end of the day.

@ShadeStoneMusic 10 күн бұрын
@@SheepAmongG.O.A.T I will have to check out Bill Weise. But visions certainly seem more credible and consistent. As for 'sin winning'. I don't think so. The Law of Moses only increased sin. Romans 5:20 confirms this Scripturally. But Grace & Truth which was by Christ Jesus, reduces sin. This is confirmed also in Romans 5:20. I understand the world isn't perfect, but I think through grace we can both agree that women are treated better today...that workers are treated better today...that there are more options available for people struggling with different things etc...There is light in the world still. Great job bro! The LOF is not a realm where unbelievers are either annihilated or become eternal rotisseries. It is simply a painful fiery judgement on carnality & wickedness. There is a righteous goal intended here. It is to purify by "burning" away all vestiges of wickedness & carnality in mankind. You are correct. Wickedness is the fuel that keeps the "fire" going. The one word answer to what the LOF is, is judgement. However, here is where I differ: The LOF did not end in 70ad. That's when it BEGAN! Scripture tells us that judgement MUST BEGIN with the house of God. And it sure did back in 70ad. Judgement is now focused on the nations. God promised Jesus to give Him the nations for His inheritance. In the 70ad timeframe, the beast(Rome) & the false prophet(apostate Judah) were cast into the LOF. Those entities ceased to exist. The temple is gone, the sacrificial system is gone, the old covenant is gone, & the roman empire is gone. But the adversary/satan is still here. This adversarial entity started to raise its ugly head in the recent past after over a thousand years of christianity steadily grew & advanced during that time without an opposer to hinder it. Not so in today's world. The opposer is now blatantly busy opposing God, Christ, & His followers like what was done in the 1st century. Except that Jesus said they will never be able to unleash the magnitude of tribulation that they unleashed back then ever again. The most they will be allowed to do is provide a real threat, but revelation 20 shows us that God will cut it short & end it before it could reach that level. Then this satan/adversary will be cast into the LOF & join the beast & false prophet who were already there. And will be just as gone as they are & cease to exist. I don't believe that the LOF is a collection agency. Rather it's the divine version of OxyClean. Where God will cleanse this earthly realm of all the filthiness of carnality & wickedness. The last enemy that will be oxy-cleaned is death & the grave being thrown in the LOF. That means no death in any way, shape, or form will plague any place in God's kingdom realm of heaven & earth. In a sense, the LOF is an annihilation station. Cuz anything thrown there ceases to exist. And the fuel is wickedness, not people. Any human thrown in the LOF will be cleansed of all carnality & wickedness. God is the savior of all men. Especially those that believe. After all carnality has been oxy-cleaned, then all will willingly bow & swear allegiance to Christ to the glory of God the Father. And then will Yahweh's oath to have His glory cover the earth as the waters cover the sea be fully realized. Then will Jesus's prayer for God's will to be done ON EARTH AS it is in heaven be answered. This could be why time is divided into ages. Ages have a beginning point & an ending point. The judgement of the LOF or great white throne will probably take ages to accomplish. God created a lot of people and most will be judged by reaping what they sowed. I'm sure this will take some time. But that's something that God has lots of and He's already determined it. And in that context it's a done deal. Thanks for this presentation bro! Peace.

But after the final judgment the dead are raised and then separated.. is this the wheat and tares? But see, a full preterist needs to make a meaning for this part of revelation. But a partial preterist only needs to get up to rev 20:7 or 20:8

Respectfully you are quite wrong in most of what you are passing on to viewers. Reading the Bible, studying it, is not a one time event either. Why would God Create a lake of fire on a perfect Earth, or tell Adam before him and Eve disobeyed, when there wasn’t a lake of fire on perfectly Created Earth? Do you know how much changed after their sin? You shouldn’t question God’s Word in this way, He has a purpose for absolutely everything. Here are your other Books in the Bible that talk about the pit of fire (lake) God’s Wrath (fire): Matthew 13:42 “and they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where people will wail and grind their teeth.” Matthew 18:8 “So if your hand or foot becomes a snare for you, cut it off and throw it away! Better that you should be maimed or crippled and obtain eternal life than keep both hands or both feet and be thrown into everlasting fire!” Matthew 25:46 “They will go off to eternal punishment, but those who have done what God wants will go to eternal life.” Mark 9:47 “And if your eye makes you sin, pluck it out! Better that you should be one-eyed but enter the Kingdom of God, rather than keep both eyes and be thrown into Gei-Hinnom, 48 where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.” Nahum 1:6 Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire And the rocks are broken up by Him. Deuteronomy 4:24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. Jeremiah 4:4 “Circumcise yourselves to the Lord And remove the foreskins of your heart, Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Or else My wrath will go forth like fire And burn with none to quench it, Because of the evil of your deeds.” BOTTOM LINE…ANYONE and EVERYONE who is antichrist (against or instead of Christ) will be forever tormented in God’s Wrath (pit of fire), plain and simple throughout Scriptures. There are only two choices, God or satan. Those not with God, Jesus Christ, are with satan, antichrist. There is no in between. OnlyJesuSaves ✝👑📖🇮🇱👍🏼🙏🏼❤

@@ChinchillaMonkey Thanks so much ❤🙏🏼 I’ve already put more than two cents in lol I am a woman, 56 now and baptized at 13. I try very hard, and it’s a struggle these days lol, to not speak out in the House of God ( in congregations), as taught in Scriptures for women to remain silent and not be preachers and speakers. God appointed men He chose for that, but He also says this of the men: James 3:1 Complete Jewish Bible 3 “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, since you know that we will be judged more severely.” I sure wish every self ordained or man ordained speaker today would read that! But Jesus very clearly warned of false teachings, which is why we should read the Word ourselves and pray and trust the Holy Spirit to give us understanding in His timing, instead of man. Even the Disciples were confused, and don’t even need to mention the Pharisees lol. And this on women wanting to speak out: (2 versions KJV and CJB- the CJB is an awesome read! So much easier to understand 👍🏼 i compare with KJV and stay away from the other gazzilion translations which add and remove things, sadly) 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 King James Version 34 “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 Complete Jewish Bible 34 “let the wives remain silent when the congregation meets; they are certainly not permitted to speak out. Rather, let them remain subordinate, as also the Torah says; 35 and if there is something they want to know, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for a woman to speak out in a congregational meeting.” This is why women didn’t preach, teach in the Bible. The women helped the Apostles (and Jesus) during the ministry in the way women should, as helpers, and those also listeners of the Word. 1 Timothy 2 Complete Jewish Bible 2 First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, 2 including kings and all in positions of prominence; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything. 3 This is what God, our Deliverer, regards as good; this is what meets his approval. 4 He wants all humanity to be delivered and come to full knowledge of the truth. 5 For God is one;[a] and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Yeshua the Messiah, himself human, 6 who gave himself as a ransom on behalf of all, thus providing testimony to God’s purpose at just the right time. 7 This is why I myself was appointed a proclaimer, even an emissary - I am telling the truth, not lying! - a trustworthy and truthful teacher of the Goyim. 8 Therefore, it is my wish that when the men pray, no matter where, they should lift up hands that are holy - they should not become angry or get into arguments. 9 Likewise, the women, when they pray, should be dressed modestly and sensibly in respectable attire, not with elaborate hairstyles and gold jewelry, or pearls, or expensive clothes. 10 Rather, they should adorn themselves with what is appropriate for women who claim to be worshipping God, namely, good deeds. 11 Let a woman learn in peace, fully submitted; 12 but I do not permit a woman to teach a man or exercise authority over him; rather, she is to remain at peace. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Havah. 14 Also it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman who, on being deceived, became involved in the transgression. 15 Nevertheless, the woman will be delivered through childbearing, provided that she continues trusting, loving and living a holy life with modesty.” Women should help plant seeds, passing the Good News of the coming Kingdom and how one can ensure their residence there for eternity, and how they can find ALL Truth through The Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, but not become teachers of God’s Word. Titus 2 Complete Jewish Bible 2 But you, explain what kind of behavior goes along with sound teaching. 2 Tell the older men to be serious, sensible, self-controlled and sound in their trust, love and perseverance. 3 Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn’t be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good, 4 thus training the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to take good care of their homes and submit to their husbands. In this way, God’s message will not be brought into disgrace. 6 Similarly, urge the young men to be self-controlled, 7 and in everything set them an example yourself by doing what is good. When you are teaching, have integrity and be serious; 8 let everything you say be so wholesome that an opponent will be put to shame because he will have nothing bad to say about us. 9 Tell slaves to submit to their masters in everything, to give satisfaction without talking back 10 or pilfering. On the contrary, they should demonstrate complete faithfulness always, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Deliverer more attractive. 11 For God’s grace, which brings deliverance, has appeared to all people. 12 It teaches us to renounce godlessness and worldly pleasures, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age; 13 while continuing to expect the blessed fulfillment of our certain hope, which is the appearing of the Sh’khinah of our great God and the appearing of our Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. 14 He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good. 15 These are the things you should say. Encourage and rebuke with full authority; don’t let anyone look down on you. Many blessings, I pray, for you and yours, and prayers our Good LORD will show you ALL things when the time comes, provide you study God’s Word and seek answers in earnest❤🙏🏼✝👑📖 Numbers 6:24-26 Complete Jewish Bible 24 ‘Y’varekh’kha Adonai v’yishmerekha. And a PS lol here is a scripture in reference to “preterism” 2 Timothy 2 KJV 16 “But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.” 2 Timothy 2 16 CJB 16 “But keep away from godless babbling, for those who engage in it will only become more ungodly, 17 and their teaching will eat away at people like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are among these; 18 they have missed the mark, as far as the truth is concerned, by saying that our resurrection has already taken place; and they are overturning some people’s faith. 19 Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, stamped with these words: “The Lord knows his own,”[a] and, “Let everyone who claims he belongs to the Lord stand apart from wrongdoing.”[b]”

Preterists find AD 70 under every rock. (I'm a full pret.) But I don't think that the chapters you ascribe to AD 70 work. Isaiah was written between 740 BC and 701 BC. The judgment of Judah/Jerusalem in front of Isaiah was 586 BC (by the Babylonians), not AD 70 unless you think there was dual fulfillment.

Thank You for Your comment! Some of the chapters were for when Babylon destroyed the first temple. I was so focused on communicating that 'the lake of fire' is an allegorical depiction of God's judgement on Jerusalem that I missed some detail. It was simply an oversight on my part so Thank You for pointing that out. That said, I do think that many of the ones I quoted were for 70AD like Isaiah 28 for example. It is depicting Christ as the 'Precious Corner Stone'. Thanks again!

This is a great question for us all to ponder! Interestingly enough Paul writes in 1st Corinthians 10:11 - Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the age are come. So I think we can see the warning in this understanding. Is the first century destruction a microcosm of the whole earth and humanity? I lean towards no because of Ephesians 3:21 and some other verses; but is that speaking to infinity or a really really long time? A degree of mystery always remains. Thanks Bro!

@ShadeStoneMusic I think that AD 70 is the antitype so that once we obey the rules of hermeneutics and get in focus the immediate historic fulfillment, we can then exegete general lessons about God's attitude towards unrepentant apostasy, betrayal, corruption, and the interplay between false religion and secular government in all ages. For example, western civilization is in an obviously feral beastliness where there is no longer any good faith effort to enforce any version of justice, and "Christian zionists" are openly riding that antichrist beast to enforce a false gospel. The state of Israel is degenerating into a giant Masada before our eyes as the West provokes Russia to throw her off the parapet like Jezebel. We can recognize and expound upon all these resonances without falsely claiming they're actual fulfillments of actual prophecies, just as John Baptist could recognize in Herodias the spirit of Jezebel.

That was a really great study! I do see that Revelation is the fulfillment of Isaiah in the Roman war, but is that the end of the lake of fire - or just that particular prophecy? Having the details of the who, what and why of Jerusalem's destruction seems to set forth not just the biblical example but perhaps the type for all wars that have ensued since. I am thinking of these verses: Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. Rev 19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. It seems to me that this lake of fire has a continuance even after the Kingdom arrives since it exists outside the city of the New Jerusalem?

John received the book of Revelation. Yet, he was told that he would be coming back at the end. Revelation 10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. That revelation (given within the past 2 decades):

Yes but what about after revelation 20 where it says: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And also says: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. That's all supposed to happen after the millenial reign of christ...during the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD the millenial reign had not yet started. You would need to read 1000 years as non-literal which I don't agree with. Also, where is the new heaven and the new earth? Why is there sin still here? Why is Satan embedded into our earthly upper echelon? It makes way more sense that this is the little season of deception immediately after a millenial reign that Satan is hiding and that judgment is coming.

Exactly! And this is exactly where full preterism fails. It fails in the timing of the millennium reign/satan's thousand year binding. Full preterism cannot scripturally prove that it started in the 30s ad & ended in 70ad. It's impossible to prove that cuz scripture tells us explicitly when the reign started.

The new heaven and new earth (Rev 21,22) is the kingdom of heaven. This is where Jesus reigns from his throne, Rev 21:5, and has since his return, Matthew 25:31-34. Where the New Jerusalem is. Where the lake of fire is, and this is the second death. Because according to Isaiah 65,66, there are mortals and immortals there. Where the land divided between the twelve tribes of Israel is (Ezekiel 47,48). And it is huge, bigger than here because this is where all souls throughout history go at death. It's a separate earth from here, first earth. New earth and first earth coexist because "passed away" in the Bible, specifically Rev 21:1, means to pass by or to come to. Passed away in the Bible doesn't mean destroyed or ended.

Great question! Thank You. Some would suggest that we are in Revelation 20...which is often times called 'Little Season'. I personally lean towards the position of Ephesians 3:21; there it says it's a 'world without end'. I don't think there is an end to world history; I get the sense from Scriptures that we come to the 'end of ages'. So we may be approaching an end to an age, but not to the world. So if I am accurate, then we are technically nowhere in a timeline, because there is no ending.
