Recently, during a prayer/devotion meeting, I showed a table comparing the KJV verses and those of the other modern versions, I was greeted with strong and angry reactions from my audience that shook me to the core. I’ve never seen such sudden turnaround of behaviour - from totally kind and polite friends to resentful and rejecting people! I was told to never speak about the ‘error-filled’ KJV against the modern versions ever again. O my! Why is there such strong vehemence and hate?!

I love my KJV Holy Bible. It’s the only version that people encourage me to NOT read. I’ve never been encouraged to stop reading the ESV, NIV, or NKJV. Now I’m a KJV reader. I’m convinced it’s the closest and best translation. Plus, the fact that peer pressure kicks in, it makes me think it is the best translation.

I have had a blog since 2015. When the Lord spoke to me and told me that I was a sinner in need of a Saviour, I saw it as truth, agreed with it and was born-again by faith. Since that time I have never had fellowship with any member of the body of the Living Christ. I see few believers on the web and it always amazes me that they have true fellowship, yet I do not. Not once. No believer came to me with the gospel. It took me years to understand that the Lord Himself "spoke" to me out of the cloud. All I can remember seeing was the sun blazing down upon me so brightly that I could see nothing else, though I recall the color green. I may have been wearing a green sweatshirt...but I only remember it because I used to own one. I heard no audible voice, yet the message was as clear as day: I was a sinner in need of a Saviour. I didn't begin "going" to chuch right away. At the time I was saved, I just reading from the NKJV until the Lord led me to several websites - one being Gail Riplinger's New Age Bible Versions. There I learned that all modern perversions are just that - perversions. I was also attending a non-denominational aka charasmatic "church" organaization at that time. A place where all the people were babbling in an unknown "tongue" and I was as yet a novice in the scriptures. Try as I might, I could not bring myself to babble. My little daughter was even skeptical of what she saw in that "church" and she wasn't saved! She simply called it what it was: a sham. I also came to meet a girl at my workplace who was part of the Charasmatiic/word-faith movement. We began to fellowship and she introduced me to the world of televangelists: Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer and the like. One day as I was watching Kenneth Copeland that still silent voice spoke to me and said "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;" 2 Timothy 4:3 I never watched those televangelists, or set foot in that church again. Jesus said in John 6:63 AKJV "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.". The Authorized King James 1611 gives LIFE to the hearer. You cannot get life from a dead book, inspired by Satan and edited and written by the spiritually dead and for the spiritually dead. The fellowship I had with the girl who introduced me to the televangelists was on its last legs anyway. She was committed to an organizationa and a way of life that was looking more and more like Egypt and less like the kingdom of heaven. Prior to the above event, I was surfing the web for more info on modern perversions and found "fellowship" with a woman who ran what seemed to be a prominent website during those years. that website was jesus-is-lord.com. We chatted over the internet and discovered that we both lived in the same town. I told her I had no fellowship and she invited me to her "church". As it turned out, she was unequally yoked in marriage to an unbeliever, though I was not aware of this fact at the time (I simply did not have the spiritual knowledge to guage that though she shared that she married him disobediently, he had never been born-again) but the Lord showed me in the last year that she was simply passing him off as saved and allowing him to preach in the "church". She also used a false doctrine (based on an article written by occultist Debi Pearl called "The Jezebel Profile") about marriage. I confronted her and her husband and the pastor in a letter about the doctrine - the pastor and her husband completely ignored me and she became hostile toward me. I left her alone and left that church but I came in contact with her again in 2015 and that is when the Lord showed me these things about her...and many more. This woman claims that she was saved by the Chick tract called "This was your life". But the Lord has shown me that this cannot possibly be true. There is something wrong with the gospel that Chick preaches. There is something wrong with Chick Publications that I never saw until recently, though I began to suspect that something was not right with this "ministry" some time ago. I have found that 99.9 percent of the blogs and websites on the internet are run by false Christs who use one or more of the modern perversions. But there are also those who claim to use the Authorized King James 1611 whose works and doctrine I have tried by the same and found them false. When the scriptures say "many" false Christs shall come in the name of the Lord AND SHALL DECEIVE MANY you can believe that we are seeing prophecy. The "falling away" spoken of in the scriptures is as present now as it ever was and ALL man-made Cain "church" organizations, denominations are apostate. They are the harlot daughters of a wicked MOTHER who systematically murders her own children in a number of ways. A Christian is a member of the body of Christ. He is not a member of a club, nor does he "go" to church. He is a member of a LIVING BODY, a body that breathes His very own LIFE into His nostrils. A Christian is not someone who "accepts" Christ. Christ needs no acceptance from man! It is MAN who needs acceptance and those who are his are "accepted in the beloved" Ephesians 1:6. The Christian IS the church. We do not bring the world into the fellowship of the Saints, we GO OUT INTO THE WORLD and preach the gospel Church simply means "called out ones". We are called OUT of this waste howling wilderness of a world and its ways and into holiness. I have gotten to a place where I cannot even read the teachings of those who use "modern" perversions other than to expose their doctrine. That includes the old divines like Charles Spurgeon and others who used the revised version or who make statments such as "the kjv is incorrectly translated" or "the bible does not specifically say", or "the language is hard to understand". I was intimidated by the language as well at first, but then the Lord caused me to see that the reason the many find the AKJV 1611 so hard to understand is because it is the language of a Great and mighty King. The difficulty lies not in the words in the scripture, the difficulty lies within the breast of man: one needs the Spirit of the King to understand His language. I came to the conclusion long ago that ALL man-made religions, all apostate "churches" are nothing but 501(c)(3) organizations. They are really in the business of making money. Lots of money. It is an industry like any other industry and the bottom line is REVENUE. The souls of the deceived laity are not even a consideration. The Roman Catholic organization is the greatest example of this for she is the richest organization in the entire world. Her bastard offspring the Mormon's and the Jehovah's Witnesses follow a close 2nd and 3rd with everyone else vying for 4th place. But all are the harlot daughters of THE MOTHER and in these last days she is but calling her own to her bosom, in order to unify them in the one-world visible church of the AntiChrist, that they may pay homage to the god that they have been worshipping all along. @Eugene Newtons' testimony is proof of this. When he was an atheist he could fellowship easily with the members of the organized "churches". They loved him because recognized him as one of THEM. The world knows and loves its own (see 1 John 4:4-6). But when he came to Christ, when he took up the Word of God, when He started speaking the truth in love, they could not hear him and no longer wanted his fellowship. John 15:19 AKJV "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." In the words of AW Tozer: "Society has turned against him; otherwise he would have no cross. No one is a friend to the man with a cross. “They all forsook him, and fled.” Mark 14:5 There is something terribly wrong with Chick Publications. The gospel they preach is not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ - He is not their central message but is simply essential to their message. Saying the "sinners prayer" does not have the power to convict the soul. Neither can a man believe unless and until he is first made to feel his GUILT and his NEED.

Excellent work! The simplicity of black and white (or brown and white in this case)! Until several decades ago, Catholics were not encouraged to read a bible until Rome had "perfected" a translation which supported their false doctrines, teachings and traditions as are mingled in every modern version. And, as you say, beware of footnotes by the publisher in the KJV. One does not need footnotes; the Holy Spirit will teach you. The modern versions are virtually Catholic books. Shame on Protestants who have been duped. I love the King James Version, and believe it is God's inspired word from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22.

David Nolen 3 hours ago I escaped the Fundamentalist Baptist Church when I was in my 20"s. It was a dead carcass when I got there (Forest Hills Baptist Church of Atlanta), and was shut down upon graduation from college. As I matured in the faith, I realized I was part of a cult. The same goes for the paranormal belief that the King James Version is THE only translation meant for the English speaking world. repent, yes anyone who has studied Catholic history knows that only certain people were allowed to learn Latin in which their Bible was written. Their greatly oversized bibles hung on a chain which made it difficult for anyone to hold for any length of time. If you seemed too interested you were discouraged from reading it. They wanted to be the purveyors of "truth" and the only way to get it was through one of them. I don't own a KJV with footnotes, I wouldn't waste my time reading them...

Sorry David, there are no errors in the KJV of the Bible. Why would God want the confusion of more than one translation. God is not the author of confusion. If you believe that they are errors then you do not have an understanding of the Bible. Do not forget what Paul said about the mysteries of the Bible. As far as doctrine is concerned people can interpret the Bible's scriptures in thousands of ways. The Bible itself is its own reference and if you find a "contradiction" then you are missing some understanding. Just because a church uses the KJV doesn't mean that they have a proper understanding of it! Every one of your supposed "contradictions" has an explanation, but if you are determined to believe something then God will turn you over to it and you will be left without understanding. I looked for the truth for years and when finally finding it found that truth in the KJV; you just need a ministry that can answer all of your questions and obviously you don't have that.

This is a great example of why theory is important whether conspiracy or otherwise. Here, David creates new knowledge about our history that has been hidden or forgotten for ages. It all starts with a simple question that goes against the popular narrative. "Why are some pages WHITE?" Most of us would never know. But David is a master at research and insight into each small detail. And this is a great example of why it is important to "speak up" if something looks strange or out of place. The people in power want us to keep quiet and will sometimes use force to make us quiet. God is being so merciful and gracious to us to bring teachers who can (and do) open our eyes to waking up to what He is doing to make TRUTH louder than ever! Our Bibles teach us to be looking for the appearance of our Lord in the air. We are learning to pray more diligently for the peace of Jerusalem and be more aware of those around us who need to find our Savior (by our witnessing of His imminent return) and to make sure that new believers learn from our testimonies about the "big picture". I could never have imagined that I would sit in a Baptist church under a pastor that is a modern version proponent! I could not have expected to sit in a Baptist church and hear a "believer" state that he did not believe we have free will! I honestly did believe in 1976 that the "modern" versions was just a passing phase. The revealed truth of the issue is quite startling to one who walked away from "religion" for almost twenty years. By sharing your methods of research (including the "simple" questions) you are teaching those of us who couldn't think of questions to ask, that would ever be objective enough to get to the bottom line of all of these differences we find among our congregation. If just one question (thoughtfully asked, as you have demonstrated) can make a young believer more confident in the KJV, or caused a "seeker" to come to the LORD, our Father will be glorified and our Savior will be held on to with added adoration.

One teacher was teaching that a chiasm has a middle item"D" which sums (?) or applies to both sides; like A, B, C, D, C', B', A' >> he said that there are also "parallelisms" which ARE 1, 2, 3, 3, 2. 1 like what I found with Jude 5-8. So that is a little different than what I showed below; however same conclusion in that the fact there is a parallelism proves the KJV was correct with a period after verse 6.

I have a Scofield KJV and it has many footnotes that say that this verse or this wording is obscure so what you said was absolutely true. Also see a verse the Modern Versions omit: Mark 7:16 "If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

While you’re at it look at what the translators to the KJV said about the LXX in the “to the reader” in the 1611. After all these guys were the smartest and the best scholars of all time. Short summary...they considered it God’s Word.

We're a tiny company. I am the recording crew. So the gimbal for recording allows me movement, without moving off-camera or having to move the camera. (It's just a gimbal with my cell phone.) I'll get better. But the motion tracking built in helps me to show more to the viewer than if I had to constantly scoot the camera, or try to fit everything for the video into the camera shot.

David, can you offer some perspective--perhaps a vlog!--on using transition bibles to get BACK to the Authorized Version? For example, I am currently in love with my King James Version Easy Read (KJVER). Are there any versions that you would consider good/safe to use in getting back to King James?

What you say is even more relevant considering the huge shift in the beliefs of these professors in what used to be conservative seminaries. DTS is among them - whereas they used to be relatively conservative, many of them don't really believe that we know exactly what Jesus said! Very sad.

Great video as usual for the regular believer to realize the corruption of our Greek manuscripts. I have wondered since the Sinaiticus has been publicly displayed, why have they not 'tested it' to prove its age?

Maybe, just maybe, they are afraid it's not as old as they have said it is. And maybe that would throw their whole system of new Bibles, working with Rome, the so-called "science" of paleography (created as part of the Counter-Reformation by Rome), and even their version of history (including the lies of Tischendorf), into a tailspin. So just maybe they don't want to know the truth. They'd rather people ridicule than check the facts for themselves. God bless you! - David

Shirley Gray you mean does he believe in the Darby creation that is the pre-trib rapture? You know that the great Church of England that produced the KJV in 1611 had no clue about such ideas? That tells you how young the idea of pre-trib is.

Prior to the Authorized Version, was the Geneva Bible, the Great Bible, the Matthews Bible, the Coverdale Bible, and the Tyndale Bible. The Tyndale Bible is the first English translation to work directly from Hebrew and Greek texts.

You have some stunning information, one can really pick your mind for something interesting. I don't believe in God or Satan, I do believe that there are others out there who do and they are the ones giving power to good & evil. Evil is to advance yourself through walking on the corpses and agony or your fellow human being (no matter how dimwitted they seem to be) and Good is remaining humble and being able to see equal value of life, often sacrificing something in your own life to help another. Evil has amassed a great army, we see them enslaving the minds of our most dimwitted humans around the world, this criminal gang owns TV stations, radio and now infiltrating youtube as organic down to earth sources. They will never be pushed into a corner, they would love to save themselves and let the world start anew . in their vision. I should be prepping my bunker. The winds and air you breathe are the most dangerous weapon to watch out for.

May I suggest buying more than one copy. I buy KJV reference Bibles to give to others, when the opportunity presents itself. Ordered extra copies of "Is the 'World's Oldest Bible' a Fake?" for the same reason. I try to stay clear of arguments, heated debates, and such as they are usually counter-productive. There are a number of other ways, that with God's help, that will yield more fruit.

I would love if you could do some expose's of NIV, NLT, ESV - the most common new translations. At my church the pastor uses esv, i am king james only, many other folks us the other odd ball new translations...the point is NOBODY seems to realize the diff until they actually read KJV vs the others - some scriptures have completely diff meanings- it would be nice to have more knowledge of the downsides of these newer texts.. Also, i just cant seem to find a church around me that uses KJV....kind of frustrating.

And in these last days it is not likely that you will find a body of believers who use the AKJV only. but even if you do, you must still KNOW THE LORD in order to discern who is false. The "great falling away" is but the fulfillment of prophecy and has already occurred, and long before it reached it's gargantuan heights, I saw people who appeared to be staunch defenders of the AKJV preach and use false doctrine from people they KNEW were using false perversions of the bible as the basis for their work and recommended their ungodly works to others claiming that the pastor who recommended the book in the first place "preached from the KJV" (see here: to support their own personal objectives. What I thought was a "true" Christian in my ignorace, I found, by the grace of the Lord, was in fact, a Jesuit. Why stay among them? Do you not know that "a little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump"? Galatians 5:9. Better to "come out from among them and be ye separate" that you may "touch not" the unclean thing and the Lord will receive you.
