Sixam cc did an amazing job, this pack is beautiful, it's just a shame EA didn't think to add the items mentioned. The problem is the nursery cc game out there is REALLY good and I just don't see the point in paid content for this when there's already full nursery cc kits for free which are beautiful. I'm not super into decorating nurseries but the cc out there has made me love it!

Console players don’t have access to cc, so that’s a pretty big reason why content like this is still appreciated. And then there’re just people out there whose computers can’t handle cc (I was certainly a part of that crowd, before I got my current pc) It’s a pretty nice way to get some new stuff, without having to break the bank on an expansion or game pack (I’ve seen a lot of people be excited about this kit, because they don’t need to buy Growing Together to get more stuff for infants)

I think both the new kits are some of the better ones. This one is definately a step up from the last few we have gotten. Did you know if you zoom in on the hot air balloon mobile, you will find a little suprise of who is inside it? check it it out its cool!

Honestly, this kit is perfect for most of my builds, since I do 18th and 19th century houses all the time. And some of the stuff definitely works well in rooms other than kid rooms. For instance, last night I was doing a one room schoolhouse turned into an artist’s studio/tiny home, and I’ve got that rocker in the library corner where it looks beautiful! I do agree about the curtains and the mobile though. Pity they can’t add a slider so you could easily lengthen curtains, and a base game chain from which you could hang most ceiling decorations would be very helpful.

They announced Creator Kits few days ago, I think this is kinda the first one we have cuz the cc creator did everything but EA is the one who sells it. I think it's much more better this way cuz cc players know ehat we want and they have more time to do these ccs at home for us. I also love the details of this kit a lot, like the UFO at the wallpaper which is easter egg of Bella disappeared at Sims 2 and I love one of the critter toy swatch is literally a cat dressed like Bella, that's so cute

If you drag the picture from the inventory to the table slot it becomes a framed picture. A feature they added after catfishing us with the strangerville trailer that displayed a livemode sim crafted picture on a table.

The glitch with the blocks is actually something that has been happening with the BG blocks for ages

He was referring to the icon for them in the catalogue being messed up, which as far as I'm aware of isn't the case with the BG blocks (at any rate the icon shows up normally in my game, although I do have a few UI mods installed so I could be mistaken about it appearing correctly in a vanilla save).

I think it's a huge hint at the upcoming expansion. They could've marketed it with the lighter swatches and not included a scythe! I wonder if they're going to introduce the Goth ancestors as ghosts in a graveyard? I'm hoping for zombies, loads of dark macabre stuff, Grim Reaper job, and more old fashioned gothic building stuff!! This might be the first expansion I buy since Country Living!!

I don't think it is a scythe, actually. I think it's a flag as someone else pointed out. I really can't see them putting a toy scythe in the game, as I feel that would be really controversial and we all know EA shys away from that kind of stuff. And personally I don't really want a Grim Reaper career. If the other active careers (and I assume it would be an active career, as otherwise what's the point) we have are any indication, the Sims whose souls we "reap" will be alive and well as soon as we switch households (or even just go to a community lot while not playing the Reaper sim at their career). That would be pretty jarring honestly. I also don't like the alternative, as I don't want my other played Sims to die while I'm not playing them. I definitely think there should be SOMETHING Grim Reaper based in the pack, but not necessarily a career.

Satch, that is not a scythe it is a flag. 😆 Also, I think it is fine to have some stuffed animals that are not smiling. Kids aren't always happy and they don't always play pretend with all of their "freinds" being happy. Leave a kid a lone and watch them play and you will see the whole gambit of emotions as they act out different things they have seen around them.

I was very hyped when I saw the theme but this victorian style is really not it for me. This geometric/floral pattern they tend to put on all the fancy/luxury fabric gives me the ick. It's also about time they give us a normal size teddy bear for kids to keep in their inventory and walk around with, like the imaginary friend one from the Sims 3.

Sims 2 also had some regular teddies that children could play with and carry around. As for Sims 4, I don't mind the oversize teddies too much, as you can always size them down (I LOVE that feature!).

There are some odd black lines on the upper back of shelves also like you saw on the scythe (flag). I was looking towards my phone when you said that was my phone not yours! LOL There seems to be references to Bella in this kit. She's in the mobile balloon, one of the teddys has red dress and pearls, also she is in the book shelf. I like that being able to get cc playmats has been opened up for pc players that don’t have Growing Together, now that there’s one available in this kit- which way more affordable than an EP tag. I have so much nursery type cc, despite having that EP because the in-game options are so limited… I wasn’t really interested in these two new kits- especially this one.. But SixamCC was one of the first build cc creators whose stuff I got, and knowing they made this stuff has me way more interested and wanting it more.

We actually do have the ability to place frames onto tables! If you drag a photo to a wall and frame it, you can then drag it to a table or surface. The little kick stand will appear. But I agree the generic photos are a weird addition.

You can put empty frames on a unit….it was an update a while back. You have to drag them during live play I believe.

The new teddy that you didn't know what the animals were seemed to include Racoon, Opossum, Sloth, Honey Badger, Cat, Fox, and either mouse, hampster or rat. You went through them so fast, but that was what I could gather. Yes it would've been nice to have a new Blarfy.

I like that this is fancy and old-fashioned looking. Up until now we didn't really have that aesthetic as an option for baby and toddler rooms, so it's good to add that. I do suspect that this is a my-first-pets situation where this will match things in the Life and Death pack (see the themeing of the toys in the basket) but they've removed the nursery things from that matching furniture set to make extra money selling them separately. For me that works out well because I probably won't want the gameplay from Life and Death, but for people who would buy both packs it's unfair to make them pay for both.

an idea i thought of for the clothes rack is if you put it somewhere other than a kids room you can think of the bag as like your kid put the teddy bear there or you left it in there after taking them to the park or something also for the animal plush the swatches are in the order you showed them a mole rat, a raccoon, a skunk, a ginger cat, a black cat dressed like bella goth, a white cat and a sloth

Yeah, the photo frame having premade babies in the swatches was very disappointing. I saw it on the shelf in the screenshot leaks and had hoped it was a photo frame. I especially thought it would have with how creative Sixam is with his CC. Oh well, my sims with color spectrum skin tones can't use this. I do like the kit because it's high quality stuff like you'd expect from a CC creator, but due to EA's restrictions, he couldn't have gone the extra mile like the usually does. That's not his fault though, it's EA's. Also, with the infant interactions on the playmat, as far as it goes they can play on it but without Growing Together they can't do tummy time or achieve milestones. So I'm sure they expect everyone who buys this kit has had enough time to buy Growing Together.

While this is the kit I am buying you are spot on with the clutter on the dresser and the lack of wall height curtains and decorations. CC creators will do it but EA should include it.
