I just remembered something from the pride if. Hasn't Subaru died like thousands of times trying to kill Reinhard after Subaru defeated all sin Archbishops?So this means that he will not lose RBD after obgaining all the witch factors. And Subaru never killed the wielder of the pride witch factor so he wasn't "human" in pride if. I am not a native so perdon me if it is to difficult for understanding

So in the end,, its a masterplan of flugel.. If each arch bishop contains each personality of flugel,(he possess all witch factors when he was a the sage? Not sure) he will gain his full body and fight over subaru's consciousness ( subaru walk a diferent path from being a sage, they have a different goal. I remember roswal somewhat said that subaru chose to save everyone unlike the sage who priorities someone) .. If flugel is the future subaru from earth then flugel is subaru from the past of the re zero world.. They might become 1 like what happen from the arc 6 when past subaru and present merge into new subaru.

My personal theory is that one way or the other, in the end Subaru will acquire all the Witch Factors and Emilia will become the new Witch of Envy. The world will turn against Emilia in fear and Subaru will be determined to protect her. This would likely change Subaru's motivation from protecting everyone, because everyone will turn against him and make him choose. I think the final boss in the series will be Reinhard who is determined to kill Emilia for the greater good and Subaru will have to stop him.

I’m just imagining the finale where Subaru is in the capital when suddenly he blacks out and is in the shadow garden with the 6 archbishops surrounding him. Each want to kill Subaru and take over his body, do them the battle breaks out and is amazing with it being an all out brawl between everyone and all their authorities. But in the real world Subaru’s body changes form to whoever is in the lead when halfway through the witch of envy come in and everyone in the mind and in the capitol are just freaking out. And then through Subaru planning he comes out on top

Yep. I do think at one point subaru will lose control. Although with tappeis workload increasing (he’s making a different series alongside re:zero, something to do about planes apparently) it’ll be a long time till it ever occurs unfortunately.

@@nerfi2983 Yea, I'm not to versed on religion, but humans bear the original sin (from adam and eve) and thus must repent throughout their lives. The 7 sins are what make humans human. This was actually something I wanted to bring up in the video but I felt like it might've been too much information. If you have watched full metal alchemist brotherhood the villain in the show does the exact opposite - he gets rid of his sins to he can become more than human because he believes the sins are making him imperfect. However at the end god tells him that he was wrong to get rid of his sins. So it's a similar premise to re:zero in a way.

She might of knew something about the futur or the present and she got the idea to pull Subaru into the world and in exchange she made sure he wouldn't be able to not give up by giving him rbd .... Ah yes the divine dragon that was supposed to be at the great waterfall is in fact at the first level of the tower... the first sword Saint is supposed to be dead but he isn't or he is partially there.... hmmm Satella being the one able to manipulate time and space and maybe also life at some lower extent she might of cast a spell on the divine Dragon and on Reid Astrea and working with Flugle so that she will bring him back and come with a solution to destroy the witches factors all together so that she and he could walk and love freely.... But the Pandora affecting reality and events are quite problematic because what if she manipulate Satella by destroying half the world and then she juste realised that she had to wait until Subaru gets sumoned so she might have a second chances to get her hands on the contents of what lies inside of the seal in the forest.... by the way if pride is the one missing well what if he got sealed away . It’s an inference, Subaru gets witch genes by killing the current holders of said genes which are the archbishops, and in pride if he kills every archbishop so by that logic he should have all the genes except maybe pride. He may not have used the genes but he does have them

At the time, he newly had the Sloth Witch Factor from his fight with Petelgeuse. In Pride IF, Subaru never had a tea party with Echidna. So, he never knew how to activate the witch factors. Either way, he was victorious in achieving his goal.

Well Reid is a memory created by the tower library so he actually is dead. We don't know if Flugel is alive or dead but Shauna clearly hasn't seen him in a long time or she wouldn't so rapidly think Subaru was him. The dragon appears to be still alive though, unless it's just an illusion or some kind of magical construct.

It's an interesting theory but I don't think I agree. I think the Witch factors do make one complete, but I don't think it has anything to do with body parts in the garden so much as becoming a complete human psychologically and philosophically. According to Dante Alighieri, each of the 7 Deadly Sins is a function of wrong or incorrect love, and love and desire is about 90% of what re:zero is about. Sloth=Not enough love Greed = Loving stuff too much Gluttony=Loving Food too much Lust=Loving sex too much Wrath=Love of justice, perverted to spite and vengeance Envy= "love of one's own good perverted to a desire to deprive other men of theirs."Pride=Loving yourself too muchI think that Re:Zero has a strong basis on love and loving because Subaru's sole motivation is his love for Emilia and a few others. My theory is that with each Authority Subaru consumes he is in effect mastering that sin. Because Subaru is a sage candidate, he is overcoming the specific sin with every Authority he takes. I don't think it's a coincidence that Subaru gains the Sloth Authority in the same Arc as the Sloth IF is set. Subaru refuses to give into sloth and embraces diligence. Having proven worthy, he gets the Sloth Authority when he kills Petelgeese. In Arc 4 he's given a chance to surrender to Greed and keep everything and everyone the way he wants it. He refuses and after that in Arc 5 he gains the Authority of Greed. Note that when Subaru takes in the Authority of Greed he is able to use it backwards; rather than force others to assume his burdens he is able to assume theirs. Subaru is able to use the Authority of Greed to provide "Charity" symbolizing his triumph over his own greedy nature and embracing the equivalent virtue. The archbishops in the garden symbolize his own worst nature which are now subservient to him and no longer in control of Subaru. I suspect when he acquires the Authority of Gluttony, maybe at the end of Arc 6, we'll see something similar. As far as the end of Re:Zero goes I have different conclusion and it really depends on what Satella is and if she is actually "real" Satella looking like a mirror image of Emilia can not be a coincidence and the relationship is just too strong for Satella to simply be a distant ancestor. We know that Emilia's mother was human so Satella can't be her mom, even ignoring questions of how long normal elves live. We know that all 9 witches will appear in the final arc of re:zero and there have been lots of theories that Subaru really is Flugel, either his reincarnation or simply that Subaru will become Flugel due to some weird time travel stuff, which isn't impossible as the power of the Authority of Envy may be time magic (what could engender more envy than viewing your other selves in parallel timeline, happy and fulfilled while you suffer?). If this is true than Satella might very be Emilia's future self. It's just a theory but I think the fact that Emilia introduces herself as Satella in the first loop has a great deal more meaning than has been disclosed. The other possibility that occurs to me is that Satella might not be real or at least not the way we perceive her. She might simply be a projection of Subaru's own deepest desires as provided by the Witch of Envy. Satella is an Emilia who is completely devoted to him and obsessed with him. Satella might really look nothing like Emilia but is simply choosing to look like the person she is most jealous of; the girl Subaru loves. Anyway, my personal theory is that at the end of Re:Zero somehow or other, Emilia will become the Witch of Envy and thus the enemy of the entire world. Subaru will decide to protect her and stand by her side willing to make an enemy of the entire world to keep Emilia safe. The final boss of the series will be Reinhard who is determine to kill Emilia "for the greater good" and Subaru will fight him with all his strength and all of his Authorities, determined to protect Emilia from this "hero." Reinhard is the perfect foil for Subaru and the perfect last challenge for him to overcome. Subaru must fight the ultimate hero to secure the safety of his beloved; a fight he knows he can't win.

We know Emilia's mother was a human because she's a half elf and we know her father was an elf and Fortuna's brother. That's really all we know about her. 4. What is the thing on the elior forest? Answer: We don't know what's behind that door or why Pandora wanted it. Satella is imprisoned near the tower of Pleidies so it's not her. I'd guess the final witch factor of Envy is behind the door but that's pure speculation. We don't really know. 5.who is puck and beatrice? Answer: Well this has really nothing to do with anything I said but puck and beatrice are artifical spirits created by the Witch of Greed. There are fan theories that Puck was specifically ordered to watch over Emilia by Echidna for some reason but there has been nothing confirmed. 6.why the hell the mabest actrac to a wich scene if the witch is the one make them? Answer: Again not sure what this has to do with anything I said but the question becomes: which witch? DAPHNE the witch of gluttony made the mabeasts and the mabeasts don't have a problem with most witches or witchcultists, at least no more than they have with anyone else. They're even willing to obey some witch cultists. The MaBeasts hate anyone who smells like the Witch of ENVY because she killed their master. 7.and what is old laguna? Answer: I have no idea and I don't know what the relevance is to anything I said. I'd speculate that the OD Laguna is some kind of "Soul of the world" or non theistic god of this world. We know it is the source of all divine blessings and it appears to have something to do with mortal souls when they die. It may be the source of all non Authority based magic but truthfully we don't know what it is.

There’s a statement in the recent chapters about the witches being the same entities as the archbishops, the only thing that changed over the years being the name. If the witches had come to get comfortable and expand their power due their understanding of the sin, it’s also apparent from what was recently read that gluttony was still coming to discover new abilities as they used their power. She had said that if she wished, she could even create witch beasts like Daphne if she so desired, but didn’t much care to. That being said, what if Pandora, the witch of Vanity, was the only witch to evade Satella back in the day, thus being part of the reason for their being no archbishop of Vanity this generation. That would explain why back when Emilia was little, a witch existed alongside of the sin archbishops. If taken a step further, maybe Satellas failure to consume Pandora led to the fractured mental state Satella found herself in. Thanks for the video!

There are technically 9 sins not 7, with the extra 2 being despair and vanity. At some point these two got absorbed into sloth and pride respectively. Currently the assumption seems to be there can't be an archbishop and a witch at the same time since only one person can hold the witch factor. Since Pandora the witch of vanity is still alive (and as far as we know Hector of despair didn't die) that means there is no archbishop of despair or vanity. I'm still kind of vague on what the technical difference is between a witch and an archbishop. The witches do not appear to always be stronger so I don't know what the difference actually is.

Essentially the theory is this: The shadow garden that subaru enters may be a key point in the ending of the series. The shadow garden is where Satella is, if you remember season 1 episode 25 where petelguese gets "kicked out" of the dark world by satella, that's essentially what the shadow garden is. The first time subaru enters the shadow garden is after he dies to julius when petelguese possesses him. In the shadow garden it's explained that subaru is just a consciousness, and has no body. Subaru sees satella and wants to touch her, kiss her, say her name, move closer to her etc. But he cannot since he lacks a body. This "love" builds and is represented by sins. Subaru then leaves the shadow garden stating that one day he will hold satella's hand. At the start of Arc 6, subaru enters the shadow garden again. This time there are 2 more people in the garden - Petelguese and Regulus (They are present because both are dead and subaru has absorbed their witch factor, this also means that satella being inside of subaru implies that she is essentially a witch factor inside him - most likely the envy witch factor). Petelguese and regulus start insulting subaru. Subaru realises he's more "complete than before" meaning he has things like ears etc. However he lacks a mouth so he cannot speak. He turns away from Regulus/petelguese and sees Satella. He wants to speak to her but can't, then he is kicked out of the garden and as he's kicked out he states that the next time he comes back he will "create" a mouth and tongue to talk to her with. I then move on to say that subaru kills the sin archbishops, and gains their factors, as a result in the shadow garden he becomes more "complete" as a human - he starts gaining body parts which the sins represent. In arc 6 the main enemy is gluttony - and what is gluttony known for? Eating, so when subaru kills gluttony in arc 6 he will most likely get a mouth/tongue in the next shadow garden. In a QNA tappei was asked what would happen if Subaru obtained all witch factors, and tappei said "he will become someone with all desires, so essentially subaru will become human". I believe this is an interpretation of the subaru in the shadow garden. Once he kills all sins, he will become a complete human in the shadow garden and be able to fully interact with the other bishops and satella that are inside him. Finally Tappei says that witch factors can take over a person eventually, this is exactly what the sin archbishop of wrath says, sirius states she doesn't want to harm subaru because petelguese is inside him and one day petelguese will take over subaru's body. I believe once subaru becomes human (AKA getting all witch factors) he will have an internal battle as they fight for his body. I then go on to say this also explains why in PRIDE IF subaru died permanently, because he obtained all sins and became "human" and thus was able to embrace satella in the shadow garden at the end.

@@Jakez123 It makes sense in pride if but I don't think subaru will die permanently and then talk with Satella, after all there are seven doors that only can be opened by the possessor of the authorities. Maybe when Subaru opens all of them he enters the shadow garden? It is very complicated because the author of Re zero confirmed a happy ending, so I can't make a theory where subaru dies permanently just to stay with Satella, and because of that, saving the world. We already know that Subaru will never come back to japan acording to LN volume 11 and 10, WN, etc, but we still don't know the reason why Satella loves Subaru to begin with. We atleast know that Satella isn't Emília from the future but I don't have any idea of how the Series will lead with the ending. I also Wonder if in the next time Subaru enters the shadow garden there will be only Louis Arneb or if her brothers will also appear
