The fact that it could use its veto powers to block a resolution that was directly aimed to curb it's aggressive invasion of a sovereign state proves it does not abide by the UN Charter. CHECHNYA wasn't in NATO, but they still killed 1/3 of it's population. 500 thousand men, women and children. They obliterated the whole cities. Why? Chechen people wanted to be independent and have their own government. It's not about NATO. It is about democracy. Ukrainians overthrew putin's puppet president and they chose their own one. This is what Putin can't forgive. So shut your mouth, please. Don't talk about things you don't understand.
