I heard Swamis speech that eating nonveg is bad and sinful when I was 13 years old. Now I am 58 years old. So I am vegetarian for 45 years because of our beloved Swami. I am immensely benefitted not only in my present life but also even in my after life because Swami saved me by telling us to be vegetarians. The transformation that swami brings in us is really huge. It helps us to proceed on the way to Moksha. JAI SAI RAM.

Yes, Non vegetarian is the worst and sinful, Ahimsa- Jiva Karunyam (Compassion for all living beings as per the Thiru Arut Prakasa Vallalar) is the only way to get liberation (moksha).

What is happening now a days in Puttaparthi, Eggs are being sold almost in many grocery shops, fishes (dead one) are being sold through many of the main and cross roads, chicken market (shop)is running within a radius of one kilometre and at last Now meat (biological halalmeat) restaurant also was opened and running without any objection; it means people demand them without any hesitation not thinking that they are living in a holy place. Then why these type of diseases not come in this earth, knowing that these non-vegetarian items are injurious to the health they consume more and complains Doctors are not seeing the patients properly which is a rediculous one.

Follow Baba's tip. If you are unable to convert into a pure vegetarian, try to give up one non-veg item that you consume. Like, I sacrificed chicken ( mutton as well). That's a great leap towards success.

I love Swami I know He is Divine but being a vegetarian by birth, I don’t think He has the right to say what He said about eating animals. Here is why. He chose to be born into a meat eating family thus sending a very wrong message to those scores of meat eaters out there that all will be forgiven if you pray to God and ask him to be born in your family. Second, His predecessor was an avid meat eater which mind boggles me to this day ! I firmly believe meat is murder and those people who eat meat which is most of the planet unfortunately, have no conscience. I find it impossible to worship known meat eaters including Lord Rama, Shiva, Rama Krishna paramahansa, vivekananda and yoganada paramahansa. I believe they didnt hesitate to murder innocent animals because they are addicted to the taste of their meat. So Satya Sai has no moral rights to decry non veg eating people. This is not in support of them though.

Please enlighten me. Did shirdi sai not know that he will return in another avatar in which he will decry non veg ? If he didnt know, then was he not divine ? If he wasnt divine then does he really deserve all this worshipping ? If he did know about his next avatar, did he still continue to eat dead flesh anyway without a care in the world ? Look at the msg he has sent to all those meat eaters. If I was one of those unfortunate animals murdered because shirdi sai was addicted to the taste of my flesh, I would not forgive shirdi sai ever.
