My great grandmas never had the chance to teach me. I only got the courage to show my interest later in life by then they were mostly knitting and crocheting after they made me my baby quilts. Thank you for making this video. I am wanting to learn what I missed out on for my cousins, they were born later and did not get the gift the rest of us did nor get to know them as I was able to so they can get their blankets as adults. Sure they are late, but I am the final quilter on this branch of the tree who could make it for them ❤

What did you use to draw the letter with?Any recommendations for darker material? And is the reason you are starting with the backstitch only to make the letter stick out more or does it do anything for the stability of the stiching?
@Afeei3 жыл бұрын
First thing, You can make a print out of the letter you need in required size & use white color carbon paper to trace the letter to the fabric. Adding backstitch gives more finishing plus a 3d effect
