I usually just do my embroidery onto my cotton with nothing behind it. I only do a word or two, maybe a heart. But I’m about to do a few words on a cotton baby onesie. So is it important to put some sort of stabilizer on it? And if so, do I have to take it off when I’m done?

@PreciousMe2 жыл бұрын
Pre-wash the t-shirts before embroidering. Most floss is polyester or sometimes silk and neither will shrink. Remember to use some interfacing on the back of your embroidery (under the t-shirt) so the fabric does not pucker. You're going to do great.

@PreciousMe3 жыл бұрын
No, not at all. It's quite unusual to use all six strands. I did it here so that viewers could see the stitches and lettering better. It will depend on what you are embroidering and what effect you want. The less strands, the more delicate but also more detailed.
