It's Sunday, Valentine's Day, around 9:45 a.m., I'm sitting at my dining table after eating in Bakersfield, CA. I appreciate your honesty about decluttering. It took me more than a week to declutter my Office/Work Room. I struggled with letting go of my machine embroidery thread and my embroidery unit that went with my Bernina sewing machine. In the end, I let go of them and it took self imposed pressure off of me. I felt that I had to use them: (1) After all, the embroidery belonged to my machine, and (2) I had spent so much money on the thread. I feel that I made the best choice. I have given myself a break at decluttering. Hugs

It's about 2:30 p.m. on an overcast, snowy day here on the east coast of Canada. I just finished decluttering & cleaning my kitchen cabinets...and we dropped off two huge bags & one large box to the Mission store (thrift store). Cannot tell you how much pleasure I get when opening up cupboards..and they are empty!! lol. So many things we never used...just taking up real estate. Our master bedroom & dressers are finished too!! Great video today...you are such an inspiration! Years ago, when first married...we purchased a new mini home...and I loved it so much! Sadly, we outgrew it...but we made some great memories there!!

Great job Karrie. I recently decluttered drawers that I had neglected for years. Especially two or three that had bills and important papers, stuff like that. Income tax papers that sort of stuff. What a mess. But it does feel good to know you can finally find something. You did a great job, and yes sometimes declutterIng can be daunting.

I love decluttering but it’s hard to get the motivation to start especially when my son’s room is a mess often 🙄 He actually likes to donate his toys sometimes which I’m grateful for since I feel guilty getting rid of his toys without him knowing but I do that a lot! You should look into putting in wire shelving I. Your son’s closet. It would give you a lot of storage space, and you can still hang the clothes. You could easily get 3 long shelves in the closet.
