Satisfying deep Spring clean with me, home cleaning motivation!

I love this time of year. Join me in this week's video, as I tackle home maintenance jobs and give my home a deep clean for Spring. I swapped out my old tarnished handles in my cottage and replaced them with the new ones. Also, deep cleaned my doors, floors and some fresh lick of paint. Yes, cats have scent glands in their face, and when they rub, they leave behind a little bit of oily pheromone to say, "this is mine." Your bungalow is so lovely! We have always had those little jobs round our house that my husband says took him 5years and 5 minutes to do......5 minutes to actually do the job, 5 years to muster up the motivation to do the job! Oh the doors! The finger prints used to drive me crazy when my kids were small. It’s funny. I would let my clutter pile up but be so fanatic about finger prints on the light switches, the refrigerator and doors!

I guess the one Irish born and raised great great grandfather my son has was not enough 🍀. He got his finger smashed on the door by his younger brother and probably lost his nail forever since the top knuckle was pretty much shattered. Life with kids/pets. Never a dull moment. Oh Catherine...you just gave me the joy of trying to find a florist that sends surprise monthly bouquets! My hubby of 30 yrs died a tragic death a couple years ago. He surprised me with flowers, every so often. I just loved that! I am dealing with my grief still, and I have been buying seeds and small plants when I find them...but never the more expensive bouquets, even though I can afford them. I am frugal, practical, so I dont buy expensive things for myself. But the idea of being joyful over little surprise bouquets...I think that is so lovely, so, in memory of my hubby's sweet flowers... I am going to do it! I know it will bring me feelings of love and happiness...and those feelings are priceless!

Hi I live in Florida and love your videos. Great idea for flowers. I have a tip for you. To make flowers last longer Cut the flowers and clean off leaves so they aren't in the water. The leaves will make bacteria. Thanks again.
