Satisfying Education With A Waterfront College Town In Cities 2!

You should remove the stands from one of the football fields to make it look like it's the "practice field" which is very common in American college football. Additionally, you should add one of the radio towers to the campus, as this is also a very common element to most American college campuses to have it's own "radio station". Finally, I tend to think the Urban Police Station has a very "community college" vibe to it's look and might make a nice addition to the college if you need some police coverage to the area.

Great work Egg! I have terrible news for you and the European viewers. Here in the US, the University of Notre Dame pronounces their name as "Noh-tur Daym." But it is a great campus to take inspiration from, its very beautiful. Famously, while sitting in the stands of the football stadium, you can see a huge mosaic of Jesus with his arms raised behind one of the end zones. This mosaic is affectionately referred to as "Touchdown Jesus." If you (and/or any modders) add Touchdown Jesus to the game, I personally would be very, very happy.

13:25 yup would be a great idea to downgrade it and zone it with some occasional low residential or commercial like some tropical cities......like a declined density as we go away from the town and then increase the density of buildings as we approach a town......can also do this with the 4 lane roads around the towns💥✌️

It's coming along nicely. Enjoying seeing how you move from build to build along the coast. Something I struggle with sometimes. The road round the hill, I think should have a few random low density houses on it. Just the odd isolated one, or a cluster of two or three. Would add a lot to the overall vibe I think.

The tall trees in front of college takes away from the beauty of the building (IMO -no need to change it). Creating campus with other zoned building is brilliant! Will steal that for my cities.

Hi Egg! I don't usually comment, but this time I wanted to suggest some things! 1. I like how the monochromatic theme of the town makes it look posh, but maybe add one or two more color themes to the buildings? It's all blending together too much I think, 2. The circular park would look great centered in that small quay curve! 3. The campus seems very open (empty?), I know that there's little to be done until more campus assets appear in CS2, but maybe you can move some of the buildings on the other side of the road closer to the actual uni?

I think the aesthetics of even the smallest of colleges would feature earlier expansions with older buildings closer to the "Old Main" building in a compact mass. Later expansions would be more spread out. The waterfront side should have more buildings and less park as if the first expansion were to create a campus quadrangle of academic buildings. Behind should be another quadrangle of student residences. a big half circle road around a practice field for a fraternity row and likely a university chapel close to "Old Main" on the odd triangle to the left. The football stadium which would date from a later college expansion might be suited further up the hill in a natural bowl using the hillsides for seating. Just some ideas. 😀

I really like your build but I think the threes on the quay are tooo big. as someone living in an old city with many quays: your threes at the quays are much smaller, I think the roots will destroy the quay

You really should enable fog. Your videos are low key hard to watch becasue your game lacks atmosphere and just looks bad becasue of it. I'm not talking about the volumetric setting that takes a lot of performance but enable the fog. My specs are very comparable to yours and the fog does not impact the performance.
