Mike’s done an incredible job with this car. I can’t think which had more of a dramatic change, the exterior or interior, both are absolutely night and day. It’s a different car right?! Unreal. Onto the tuning Luke ;)

I own a 2007 GTI here in Florida, where we get lots of direct sunlight. I have huge areas of the same type of fade on my seats with only 120k miles. There is no tint whatsoever on the windows and I believe it has amplified the heat and sunlight to cause the same issue you are seeing to a more widespread area. With the way the pattern of your seat's fade is (it looks like the shape of your driver window), I can almost assure you it was because of the sun. Kind of sucks when the black looks so damn nice when clean and kept properly.

People, learn to clean your damn leather, especially steering wheels. I'm not even a clean freak, I'll sometimes leave my car like 3 months without washing it. But I can't stand seeing old shiny, greasy steering wheels. You can bring it back to basically new for minimal effort
