Nice! I did pool maintenance for about 10 years in Florida. I sustained a very severe injury while doing them back in 2001 and now have end stage arthritis in my ankle from it. I haven't cleaned a pool since 2016. Watching this channel takes me back to one of the more rewarding and satisfying jobs I've ever had. I think there's a misconception that pool maintenance is easy work. It is definitely not that at all. If you work well alone, enjoy the outdoors and are prepared to get your ass kicked it's great. It takes a certain kind of crazy person to enjoy it.

Thanks for the awesome comment 👍 Sorry to hear ya you sustained such a bad injury but glad you enjoyed watching the video. It is definitely a tough gig but very rewarding. I tried office work once. Couldn’t do it. Definitely need to be outside 😂😂

As someone who gets bladder infections from pool, just looking at this makes me unwell. Why didn't they drain the water?

Some people want to drain others prefer not to. Usually way up the cost and see which way the client prefers. Fair amount of water to just dump. And even if you did the fresh water that gets added is still going to need to be chemically balanced.

@@PatThePoolBoy thank you for explaining. I recommend that you do videos of before and after, because at the end of the video the pool still looks gross. Even though its going through treatments.
