The real ones send them to her, due to costs, and she is better than most dermatologists for acne. Derms are for wealthy people, out there in 🇻🇳 most people average 4k per year, even with low cost of living, people save for obvious reasons, where they can.... if one has enough money, one can afford to find anti acne meds, but they're quite costly. Accutane isn't readily available like it is here in the USA

(Some call it "cystic acne" also, but it's the same kind of infection). edit: There's also a type of acne where to acne cysts connect into one below the skin. It's called a "conglobata". It's like this too sometimes. ...and then there's the type of acne where people try to pop a pimple, but instead of it popping outwards like normal, it pops inwards deeper under the skin. interesting to look at; but far from effective! After a few days the pimples are back. Regular use of a peeling (once or twice a week) is suitable for reducing blackheads. Mechanical peels, such as glycolic acid and salicylic acid peels, remove blackheads and dead, excess skin cells. The skin receives a visibly fresher and more radiant complexion. For severe acne, only oral medications in the form of tablets or pills help. These include the antibiotic groups tetracycline, erythromycin and clindamycin. These are usually prescribed in combination with medications that are applied to the skin

I suspect if the client had the money for a dermatologist and antibiotics, they would do so; however, that might not be the case here. For such severe acne, I would understand they need relief with treatment. The clinician is providing a better outcome than not being cared for at all. I imagine that there is more to this treatment than just bursting the acne.

How about the woman with 10 huge cysts on her scalp, the one on the top of her head opened & the contents seeped out - and, hardened, and formed a horn on the top of her head? Doesn’t she go to a Primary Care or ObGyn every year - who would see these and whisk her to the nearest Derm? Or, ER? Even a Primary Care Doc could work on the cysts. My thought was, the woman didn’t want her long black hair cut or head shaved, and probably never went to any Dr or hid the cysts with her hair. Dr Lee, kindly! didn’t shave the woman’s head. Man, I would have (if it even got that bad) gone to the ER, said, “Knock me out...Shave my head...Take these things off...Stitch them up...And, scrub my scalp!” And I’d wear a hat, wig or scarf as my hair grew back...Contrary to what was being said when I first saw these videos of Asian woman and their skills with acne, I do believe Accutane is available and Thuy must refer the bad cases to an MD for a script...

@@deborahbelanger-palmer1469 For the people suffering like this, I wish all of the extractions could be like the ones where they gently prick the blackhead/zit and then prise the core free with a gentle quick motion. Unfortunately for this person, that’s not possible.
@deborahbelanger-palmer14692 жыл бұрын
@@Skydron That is BS. Why was it not possible? She RIPPED his skin. Not extracting the core would have been better than RIPPING his skin. She could have used Q-Tips or another tool that would have been less damaging to the skin. But she could not take the time necessary to extract the core without damaging his skin.
@Skydron2 жыл бұрын
@@deborahbelanger-palmer1469 For one, they’re using a blade to open the tops, that’s already cutting the skin. Not to mention it’s not conducive to extracting in the method I mentioned. I’ve watched other videos in which a needle, like for a syringe, was used. With certain types of black heads, depending on if the core was solid enough, they can go in from the side at an angle and then easily extract the entire core in one fell swoop. I’ve also had zits and black heads before where simply opening the top doesn’t mean it will be emptied easily and they’ve have to squeeze hard, sometimes painfully to get the core to release.
@deborahbelanger-palmer14692 жыл бұрын
@@Skydron You can still "prick" a blackhead with the type of blade she used. The blade has a point almost as small as the needle. She chose to stab the person with the blade instead. The needle method is often used to cut the skin as well, using the method you mentioned. They turn the needle to a certain angle so the sharp, "blade" side can cut the skin as they flick the needle out. This makes a small cut, so they can better flick out he core. So, I don't see how the method using a needle is any different or in any way better. My point is, if it takes that much pressure to squeeze the core out of a blemish, or if you have to cut the skin, don't do it! THERE ARE BETTER WAYS! Ways that will not rip, cut or bruise your skin. If you have never seen, Enlisa Brown videos, I would suggest you take a look. This woman deals with people that have acne worse than the person in this video. Enlisa has never, cut or bruised anyone's skin in order to empty a pore. It can be done. If you are going somewhere to get extractions done and they are squeezing to the point of pain and NOT using a method or tools that will not damage your skin, go somewhere else.

Do dermatologists recommend doing this? Can't imagine that they would. Seems like it will make a bad situation worse. And if the underlying problem of production of excess oil isn't being treated, the pimples will just start forming all over again.
@KC-gy5xw2 жыл бұрын
Medication alone will not remove the underlying issues. of this painful cystic acne. In Vietnam, the spas (different definition to elsewhere) generally work closely with the doctors who prescribe drying medication and get the skin cleared so that the the healing starts quicker. The spa in Vietnam also use a lot of other skin treatments pre and post extractions. The results are amazing, so it does actually work very well indeed. Please look at the 21 videos of Hung, or go to Hien Van Spa and look at her series for Minh. It might look 'wrong' to our western eyes, but it does work. We cannot possibley believe that a method we are familiar with is better than anyone elses. After years of watching, they have something that perhaps Western skin care people would do well to at least look at and investigate for it's potential benefits.
@cathyh6752 жыл бұрын
@@KC-gy5xw I'm convinced the way of these spas is best. My son's acne was so bad he needed daily oral antibiotics, topical meds and cleansers and it started just getting worse. To top it off he has eczema which would flare if the skin got too irritated or dry. Started with extractions after 2 years of the western way and his skin completely cleared up. Removing the gunk worked way better than meds.
@meaganodell44792 жыл бұрын
Dermatologists here still have to extract acne even if they are on medications because they can cause painful nodes and the medication doesn’t necessarily dry them up or help so removing all the junk is good.
