oh wow that came out really well. now i've always been meh on wraps. but this one. could probably fool me to think it was a really well done paintjob because i can't see a crease or bubble and those cuts on the key holes and other difficult little details. simply amazing. wish i could see it in person.

Dox, you are seriously an asset to the community. I'm sure you make plenty enough money without having to give back like this, but we really appreciate the time and effort to show us how to do things! This really helps me on ideas for my bumpers on my upcoming wrap and where to do inlays and where not to. 2 questions: 1) Would it be possible to do a video on wrapping a complex spoiler? (a lot of those mid 90's oem honda spoilers, for example), and 2) are these PET wraps advisable for the beginner? Absolutely love the added gloss, but scared I'm going to be over my head with it... Thanks!!!!

Thanks for the support! I’m here to help you guys be able to do it yourself and not have to pay some shop hella money for subpar results. Spoilers you do the underside first and seam all the bodylines. Then you do a final piece on top. PET wraps are glossier but also harder to use so I would do a regular gloss one first

I've always been concern about the blade cutting. When your cutting does it damage the finish do you see the marks if you remove the wrap?

Great job my bro. With the rear you poss may have benefited by laying the high points in the centre first and then following into the smaller areas. This would keep the vinyl flat and conformable for ya 😉 hope that makes sense and dont mean to tell you how to suck eggs, as it clearly shows you know ya shizzle 🤙🏼

I would say around a week and a half to 2 weeks for a beginner but at my shop we can do it in around 2-3 days with 2 installers and 1-2 days with 4 installers.

Hey mate, I have found at my shop that its easier to heat up vinyl than to cool it down. Better to try and stay around 24 degrees Celsius if you can and use your heat gun/steamer/IR heater to heat the vinyl. There is a group on facebook called the wrap room that you may want to join that has a team of wrap shops ready to help the community.
