All of you people dinging this video for the cost of a $10,000 rebuild complaining about the cost. It's called paying for expertise. If you think $10k is expensive, try paying for a new car. It's a no brainer money decision. This rebuild makes for great content. Those of you complaining about cost completely missed the point. The ten grand pays for the skill and expertise, use of machinery, etc. If you think it's so easy and overpriced, YOU try it and see how your results turn out. It’s professional start to finish I agree. And the finished product looks prettier than $10K in new money. My mouth is watering. I would want to know, were I the owner or the buyer of the “before” property- Besides aesthetics and owner pride…. WHY?? I would be an example of a old-guy who would have been happy to get it running with minor cosmetic upgrades, new fluids, and a good weekend cleanup job. And then drive the piss out of it. The finished product is now worth collector money and out of my old guy price range…. Comments please- I am looking for for an old deal like this. Is it a lost cause these days to find and drive old majestic “beater” like this one before the professional upgrades?

The saying goes you get what you pay for. Kind of interesting they went to the extent of what they did with the engine. what about the transmission, also the rad hoses rad and cooling? How about the undercarriage? The brakes, exhaust, suspension? The road side of the undercarriage? What they showed was thorough, and well done. 👍

Nice woork and great workmanship but what is the market for such indepth rebuild? I can see rebuilding the engine doing cosmetic work in and out and a good detailing. But a total and complete stripdown seems futille.

You can easily find these cars in U.S. in excellent condition for $10,000, I wouldn’t waste their time and energy doing it this way. Just sell this one and take that money with the $10,000 and find one in better condition and won’t have to wait that long to ride or either take that money and bump up to ah LS460 for ah little bit more. Sometimes you gotta know when to cut your losses..
