Stevie is a musical genius! Blind yet that doesn't stop him. He was Prince before Prince! He just turned 70 this month, been in this business since he was 12. And not one of his songs sound the same. Composer, musician (he can play multiple instruments), producer, arranger! Truly a gift from God.
@Kim-4273 жыл бұрын
Why do some of you say things like that? Stevie is Stevie and Prince is Prince.In our day we just didnt compare musicianship like you guys do now.We understood the individuality of our artist back in the day.You guys dont appreciate that today.
@sixfootbeauty3 жыл бұрын
@@Kim-427 I say this because Prince is MY favorite artist of all time. Please don't bring a condescending reflection to this post. It is an observation of an artist that my parents grew up with and who I grew up with and realizing the God given gifts to these awesome artists of different generations. Plus this young man can have someone to REFERENCE when mentioning the two. I personally began to understand the magnitude of Stevie because of Prince and someone pointing that out to me. So don't say you guys just say ok I see. There's nothing wrong with recognizing gifts from each generation and making sure the next understands that 🙂
@Kim-4273 жыл бұрын
@@sixfootbeauty I grew up with both artist.Its not about being condescending.You are entitled to your feelings and Im entitled to mine.And actually Prince and Stevie Wonder were making music during the 80's.These people were apart of my childhood.I get tired of the disrespect from many of this generation.And I probably should not have taken it out on you.But,To have seen these artist in concert.To listen to them during a breakup, happy times, hard times pretty much the soundtrack of my life you become protective of these artist.I just think they deserve the upmost respect and not be compared.They were both genuis in their own right.You obviously seen how Prince death affected people so you should really have taken a moment and thought about what I said and just tried to understand where I was coming from.But,In true fashion of todays younger generation you come with the smart come back and try to school my old ass.lol

😍 Love this Beautiful song and Genius Wonder...it's one of my all time faves from Stevie's treasure trunk of hits. Satori please do yourself a favor and react to more of Stevie Wonder 25x Grammy winner, starting with his first recorded hit in 1963 at age 13~ "Fingertips", he jams on the harmonica! Lil Stevie was the first kid ever to have a hit song reach #1 on Billboards Top 100 chart. Several years later as an older teen he recorded "I was made to Lover her", "My Cherie Amor", and "Yesterday". You'll have a stronger appreciation for Stevie when you hear the beginning of his Golden 👑 talented career. My favorite album of his is "Songs in the Key of Life"...every song was a hit...earned him a Grammy, album of the yr and it's in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Enjoy his Treasures 👍

Stevie Wonder grew so much over the course of his decades-long career. Towards the end of it, he could do ANY genre of music. Always loved Stevie from the first time I saw him as a 13-year old kid doing "Fingertips" on American Bandstand. Some of this may make no sense to anyone younger than probably 50.
@rebeccanilles88883 жыл бұрын
Towards the end of what? Stevie is still very active - a mind like that doesn't stop creating.
@redindenver66663 жыл бұрын
@@rebeccanilles8888 I didn't mean to imply that his career was over -- I only meant to imply that he started performing while he was still a kid, and by the time he had been performing for 2 or 3 decades, he had perfected his craft so that he could sing (write, perform, etc.) ANY type of music. Many singers NEVER achieve that.
