Visually, this game is amazing. Bright and colorful stages and characters. Animated stages. No (or at least minimal) slowdown. In 1996? I'm impressed. The gameplay may be slow and clunky, but it seems to function properly.

This is one of the only two fighting games I've ever played on an actual arcade cabinet (the other being Tekken 5). It wasn't nowhere close '96, though, more like 2005 or some shit. It's incredible it was preserved in some shitty bar in a summer house rental place. In Poland, no less. Anyway - that fucking weird-ass green guy with the yo-yos, that was my guy. There was one other kid around my age, and we played this a lot, but for the life of me I can't remember who he played as, usually. His mom played as Gerelt, though, I remember that one vividly. Probably because she only played once. She called him a gentleman, or a pretty-boy or something like that. Funnily enough, I sure as fuck don't remember anything about this game, other than the name and those two characters. Also - fuck you, Pat. This game belongs in Fisticuffs.

That soundtrack... Unless I'm mistaken it plays a track until it's finished, then moves on to the next track, instead of being like a normal game where the track starts at the start of a match and ends at the end of the match. Edit: Okay, at the very end of the video they say that there is no music in-game, so what I'm hearing was obviously put in after the video was recorded.

Just going by the date this came out I can tell you exactly what this is. This is Capcom trying to se if street fighter can work in a 3D space without actually risking the Street Fighter is in case it was bad. Kind of like how they made Dino Crisis to test the 3D waters for Resident Evil.

Sometimes the Zaibatsu comes up completely ass. This game was a lot of fun, has good(for the time) graphics, the mechanics were different, and the music was sex. I can't say I played this game as much as Soul Blade, but it's not deserving of a Scrublords.
