*a note to our viewers: Although Now That's What I Call Passover would be a legendary CD, it does not exist in reality. Any reference to owning a copy of the CD throughout the seder is in jest, no CDs will be mailed.

As a gay man I have spent much of my life running away from Judaism, but after a long journey I have discovered that Judaism has not once given up on me, and will always be waiting with open arms when I need it most. These days, I am proud of both parts of my identity, and am celebrating my tradition and culture with my friends and family over Zoom. (It was the triple whammy of Pesach, Shabbat, and my birthday yesterday!). This production speaks so authentically to the Jewish experience - being able to simultaneously make me laugh, think, and cry in every breathe. I feel so utterly deeply connected to my Jewish mishpocha in this moment...I'm in tears...

This is so beautiful. Thank you to everyone who put this together. So often, as Jews, we have to leave our religious traditions at the door in order to achieve mainstream success and recognition. This event, is a beautiful celebration of who we are at heart, a people who continue to push for freedom, not only for ourselves but for others as well. The fact that this event is attached to an act of tzedaka (charity), makes it that much more beautiful. Thank you again to everyone who made this online event possible.

My dad was a doctor. He had a patient who was an elderly widow. Every Christmas she would call with some “issue”. My father would make a house call, rolling his eyes because she was “just lonely “ . We were Jewish. Note the past tense. Everyone else is gone. I am 70. And I have become that lonely lady. Only for me it’s the problem of having no one to even Zoom Seder. So MANY THANKS! To the creative, superlative performers who wrote and performed. And also to ALL of the many commenters who welcomed this beautiful expression of Jewish tradition. Your warmth made all the difference for me.

It's not about religion. I don't see God as a religion, but my Heavenly Father who watches over me angry guides me. My best friend. Always there to listen to me, and love me unconditionally. My coach, who gives me directions to get through this difficult game of life. Who will still pat me on the back even when I fumble. Me cheerleader who will applaud me, even when I come in last. With all this perhaps you'll reconsider your atheism. Stay well!!

I love that! I'm a Christian, but I follow more the teachings of Buddhism, bc that's what my mum believes in. We are Chinese, living in Austria. As a Cultural Anthropology student I love to learn more about different traditions. You hear not much about Jewish traditions and I really love your way of celebrating. The togetherness is kind of more present than in Christan traditions nowadays. Sadly Christian traditions became materialized. My mum is a hospital staff. She is a dental assistant and works in the dental clinic at our local hospital. They have now a new work plan and today she has the Easter Sunday shift. Watching this it inspires me even more to honour her work and give a little bit back. I will definitely cook dinner for her today and just enjoying quality time with her. Thank you so much for this and stay safe everyone ❤️

Hollywood Studios, originally, were created by German Jewish immigrants...MGM, Universal, Paramount, etc..., were their creations. Through neighborhood markets, Nickelodeon’s were formed. The Four Questions sung by Idina Menzel Why is this night different from all other nights? 1. On all other nights, we eat leavened (chometz) or matzah. But on this night only matzah. 2. On all other nights, we eat all types of vegetables. But on this night, maror. 3. On all other nights, we don't dip even one time. But on this night, two times. 4. On all other nights, we sit straight or leaning. But on this night, we only lean.

May his memory be for a blessing. I remember my first seder without each of my grandfathers, who were both immigrants. Neither holiday was easy. But every Pesach we still talk about their lives & how their families came to the US for freedom (specifically, not wanting to be killed in a pogrom or murdered in a death camp) My "Zayde" came from eastern European shtetl with his parents & toddler older sis to the lower east side when he was a baby. My "Opa" fled Nazi-infested western Europe (Germany to Holland, then fled Holland for the US via Cuba) with his grandparents, parents & 4 adult siblings; they landed on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Thank you for this. I grew up on Easter but haven't found comfort in it for many years. I celebrated Ostara for many years when I was able to get out into nature, but now I'm a pedestrian in a hard-hit, densely-populated neighborhood of a major city, and I'm afraid to step outside my door. All I can hope is that this blight passes over my household and the households of those I love. All I can do is think about next year. All I can do is hope we get through this desert so we can both grieve *and* celebrate. Thank you for providing comfort when the rest of the world did not. A tradition that recognizes bitterness as sacred just might be the one for me. ;) Next year, sincerely, I plan to attend a seder, and give thanks to the Jewish community for mooring up my heart at a time when it was sinking. Thank you, again.
