A small indie pop band from Canada, "Alvvays" topped the U.S. college charts. They've gone on to win the Canadian equivalent of a Grammy and are now getting ready to embark on a world tour. From their latest album, here's Alvvays with "Belinda Says."

“Some might say they don’t believe in heaven, go and tell it to the man who lives in hell.”- found online that Oasis are one of Molly’s influences. Can’t help but wonder if that could be a coincidental subconscious homage? And obviously, I know the song is actually referencing Belinda Carlisle and her “Heaven is a place on Earth”. It’s just this line specifically always reminds me of the corresponding Oasis lyric.
