I met him on a movie set (the Billy Bathgate movie that didn't quite make it) when I was an extra and stand-in for Mike Starr. Really nice guy from what I remember. That was back in 90' or 91'. Sort of funny, and I will be name dropping, but I also met Tom Cruise (briefly) since he sort of snuck onto into town and onto the set. He was dating Nicole Kidman at the time. I also was able to meet Abe Vigoda, Steven Hill, Stanley Tucci and Dustin Hoffman. It was pretty neat to know that these are regular people, with all the regular people quirks and attitudes, that are just doing a job that they enjoy. I met the cinematographer and had spoken with him at length, not knowing how well regarded he was in the motion picture industry. I didn't find out until he had passed away. I just had to look him up because I couldn't remember his name. He was Néstor Almendros. He passed in 92'.

@@Kromsmitesyou Exactly. The ONLY time HR would back up the worker, is to protect the companies ass, and if they think that worker has some kind of proof of abuse, that could cost the company $$$ in the courtroom.

The best SNL sketches, whether in 1975 or 2024, are ones where you take a very simple observational concept and just play it to absurdity. But they got this idea from a Monty Python sketch, the management trainee program. That actually was a John.

Very funny, Steve played the role very well.

I doubt he makes many mistakes and he looks like he remembers his lines. He is probably great at improv also.

One time I had a job interview and it looked like I wasn't going to get it and the boss asked about my history and why I went back to working with glass after getting an education and geomatic engineering and why I wanted to survey now all of a sudden.. so dressed to the nines I crawled over his desk give him a close-up view of the large scar on my chin and how I had recently gotten it from working with glass, the second I sat back down he said you've got the job I need someone who isn't afraid to crawl around in the bush and on roofs and yell at rich people😂😂😂😂

Oh I wish SNL actors could nowadays look at the person they're talking to instead of cue cards.

They’ve always looked at cue cards.

SNL should have recreations for throwback sketches. This was a great skit. Would love to see Alex Moffat and James Austin Johnson do this one.

Buscemi and Kataan were so laser-focused into this dry but stupidly hilarious sketch. Very KitH/Flying Circus-esque.
