In 'Knives Out" Daniel Craig's accent was more along the line of a Louisiana'n Bayou dialect. Still, I caught a sort of 'proper' Kentucky gentlemen's mannerism mixed in there, kind of like a slave owner during the civil war. Like "My sweet shuugaa plaam" or " Iy Do D'claire (I do declare)" or "Lia-sen Heaa Miss" (listen here Ms.) (Edit: _ Minor retraction - In retrospect I think the aforementioned mannerism may have lent itself to a Plantation owner rather than the former. _ wound up back here in the middle of the night because YT hit me with a notif*, nearly forgot I wrote this, seemed insignificant ...but some folks thought otherwise lol Up votes appreciated)

Anyone who pronounces Maryland with 3 syllables is not from Maryland. It's "Mairlin" or "Murlin", never Mair-a-lind". It actually became a very interesting accent to me once I moved out of state and could hear it for the first time. I'm sure an "accent coach" could appreciate that! 😆
