It always annoys me in media how girls always assume the worst in each other! It doesn't send a good message to any of us, regardless of gender. Thanks for calling attention to this, SNL! ❤
@naruchiha216 жыл бұрын
While I agree that shows do rely on negativity too often between both genders, it's also used for a reason tbh and I believe that's basically the message here. It's true that drama always gets views over people being good to each other which is also why the news is almost always just filled with the bad stuff rather than showing good people doing good things more often. Let's be real, horrible people make for conflict which = more interesting stories. Pretty much why men are always portrayed as cheating, abusive, drunk rapists/murders and women are portrayed as lying manipulators that stab people in the back. It honestly does get old but sadly I doubt they're tropes that will be going anywhere soon.
@juankimfully6 жыл бұрын
Garrus -Vakarian its different. Out of all the criminals, men have ridiculously high rate. So if someone had to be a murderer in dramas, its statistically right to portray it as a male. However lying manipulators obviously dont have statistical proof; its rather based on a false demeaning stereotype. Such a different story, my friend.
