Used to go to the Comedy Store every Sunday night where Sam worked on new material. Gotta tell you, I spent many a night on the floor unable to breathe from laughing so hard. Saw him there at least a dozen times and many of the routines never made it into his "formal" act, but I'm telling you ... it was probably his best stuff. He'd riff off the audience and it was stuff you just couldn't write. Damn, I miss him.

Yeah... THEY took Sam. THEY contrived the whole accident thing and convinced him he had serious injuries and was going to die a painful death if he didn't go with THEM now, so he caved and said ok... ok... ok and he was gone.
