Mr. Teacher brought to mind Mr. Lewis, my ever-exasperated Monroe Jr. High science teacher (San Jose, circa. 1976 🤦‍♀️) whose hair style, glasses, and wardrobe consisting of short-sleeve shirt & polyester trousers, could have been the inspiration for SNL’s costume department! (BTW, Mr. Lewis was one of my favorite teachers of all time👍)

Not exactly. Cecily's characters name IS Loni (or possibly spelled Lonnie). Melissa screwed up by pronouncing it with a hard O instead of a soft O, Like LOhnie. And yes then Jason ran with it and ad libbed the rest including calling the mom the wrong name too.
