He's fine, some of his new stuff especially is funny. Detroiters was...okay at best. Lol this video has 1.5m views, there's like 300 SNL sketches with 8m+ views for a reason. While the majority isn't always right, there's definitely something to be said that this sketch is literally 1/10th as popular as hundreds of other SNL sketches. Humor is one of the few things where the majority just tends to get it right. This simply isn't that good and certainly isn't some good performance by Robinson. "moderate success" put it perfectly. Dudes propping him up to the level of Mikey Day or Bill Hader are out of their minds lol. But thats the beauty of youtube - take any outlandish, extremely minority rejected opinion, and you'll find a few thousands of people that'll make you feel validated over it, hence you can randomly blurt out nonsense like "Tim Robinson is the greatest SNL cast member that lasted only one season" and get 72 likes despite it being laughably wrong.

Tim Robinson had the early potential too to be a longstanding SNL cast member. And now he’s making more comedy than he could ever imagine. I love this man.

This sketch is an example of something that was perfectly curated (either prior to, or just after) the concert where he played the initial demo of the track. Absolute lightning in a bottle- it is funny for those who have no clue about the song or who John Tesh is... but then every single element of context that references this is spot on. I mean the hammers was slapstick and an element that was not as relatable- but the overall balance is just spot on.

1. This was freaking Hilarious 2. I Didn't realize that was Aidy B.letting the boys in, in this scene back in 2013! 3. This started as a poem, classic!! 4. Sudekis is rocking that wig!
