I was neutral in the beginning, but now I believe Johnny. Amber’s story has way too many inconsistencies. She has ruined it for real domestic abuse victims by lying - setting back the movement against domestic violence.
@scourge80972 жыл бұрын
@@completelyfascinating6981 I don't think that's the case at all. This hasn't ruined anything for domestic violence victims. It's simply shown that Men can be victims as well. If Amber Heard had called the police with the "broken nose," she claims, this would be a wrap. If she'd gone to the Hospital after an INCREDIBLY violent sexual assault, he'd be in prison(if it had happened). She lied, people found out about it, that's all that happened. This won't have any real impact on DV victims. It MAY give people a pause before they blindly believe a women in the midst of a divorce claiming that they've been abused...but they should question things. Plenty of Men have been accused of a lot of ugly things when divorces get ugly...including things like abusing their children. You shouldn't be able to just make a singular claim sans all evidence and ruin someone's life. Even that will continue because...most people can't imagine why you'd just make a story up.

Ah the left media is rallying up to defend poor amber, as usual, against all evidence, logic or veridicts. She will always be the victim to these hypocrites because... ahh she is a woman, and abusive lying woman don't exist to these feminist men hating writers and producers. Disgusting.

Me Before Watching: Oh good, they did a skit on this. Me After Watching: With all the things you had to work with; "Objection, Hearsay!", a lawyer objecting himself, "My dog stepped on a bee", muffins, a witness vaping during testimony, "I didn't punch you, I hit you", "I use pledge & donate synonymously", a make-up pact that didn't exist yet, tearless crying, mirroring outfits, etc. Instead, we got poop jokes. Way to phone it in at the end of the season SNL!

When SNL gets it right, they really do, but this sketch was trash. I honestly wondered why they went with this case as a cold open. I’m not even sensitive about this case, there aren’t many ways to make it funny because this case has overly-exposed us all to personal details we never asked for, and it has been all we have seen. I think this is the first time a cold open made me roll my eyes and not bother with the rest of the show.

Unfortunately, SNL's track record for getting it right these days is abysmally inconsistent. It used to be mostly funny with an occasional dud, but the opposite has become true over the past 10 years... instead of being willing to deal with the duds for the gold, I find myself skipping the whole thing because it just isn't worth my time, sitting through 10 unfunny skits just to see 1 good one, and another that kind of makes me chuckle

@@cjb2749 I agree, but in the past 30 something years I’ve been watching SNL, there is a difference now. We live in a microwave society now, so KZbin allows people to pick and choose what they want to see from the full SNL episode. Social media has allowed them to boost those few funny sketches and let people decide whether they want to even look into some of the unfunny ones.

It's funny how the whole country knew she was the abuser and the media acted like we weren't watching the same trial.

This needs to be redone by someone who can correctly satirise the material. Amber wasn't shown once, her lawyer needs to say objection more, they focused entirely too much on poop in the bed, and to be honest Johnny smiling is because of Amber's terrible legal defense.

More likely that he knows he can beat women regularly and still have numerous Jack Sparrow fans get slobber on themselves as the defend him. Hope he doesn’t kill the next one.
