It sounded to me like they were saying, "the people demanding attention and information from roan outside of her work as a musician and a performer are as out of line as the people throwing produce at a baby hippo." I see a lot of people criticizing this skit because it takes a dig at Chappell Roan. But I kind of feel like it takes a neutral stance or sides with Chappell. The joke, to me, is not that Chappell has been unreasonable, but that Moo Deng would liken herself to one of the biggest pop divas right now. Which is very on brand for Moo Deng. I liked this skit! 🤷
