I think you are not aware about guruji's life. He started his spiritual path by reading Shankara and advaitha. Read his Bhagavad Geeta kannada translation, then you will understand. Don't make baseless statements.

Ha ha. You don't even know 1% of who he is. It was Bannanje Govindaacharya who wrote the script for the Sanskrit film Adi shankera directed by G.V Iyyer. Know things before commenting. Bannanje is the same scholar who gave lectures at U.C. Berkeleys, USA on Shankeraacharya in sanskrit. Bannanje Govindaacharya is the same scholar who was the president for several times for veda and sanskrit sammelanas held at Shringeri (a Shaankara Peeta) and Gokarna. Bannanje is the only aacharya in Indian philosophy who published a book with the bhaashyas of brahmasutras and bhagavadgeeta of all the three main aacharyas in a single book along with his own vyaakhyana at the end. Bannanje Govindaacharya is the only aacharya who has written his own sutra; that is, his PraaNagni sutra. Not even Shankeraacharya, Ramaanujaacharya or Madhwaacharya have written sutras on vedas. If you don't know who he is, do not come to dirty conclusions before analysing his life and his entire discourses. Watching half cut videos of Govindaacharya created by agenda driven gangs(leftists) lead to duraagraha like the one you are exhibiting.

Dronacharya was teaching the pandavas and kauravas about shastra and shaastra..for protecting their subjects from enemies. Ekalavya without getting the Guru permission stole the vidya which is not only a great sin but it is guru-droha. What is the gaurantee that this vidye will be used for good of society? What if he uses it with evil intentions? Ekalavya did use it against pandavas and fought in the mahabharata war on the side of kauravas. Don't go by narratives. Learn to "see" the truth that is hidden. This incident has nothing to do with "Jaati"!
