I am also from Jaat community. When I was 12 years old I witnessed such crime in my Nani village. My father is highly educated and hence we left that toxic culture. Today me and my sister we both are married in different caste and of course love marriage. In fact I had big fat wedding ( which included my relatives) Only way to stop this violence is EDUCATION. Me and my sister could not have imagined our present during our childhood but my parents were confident and Caring. Education is only solution.

I am really happy for you, but let me tell you, all my cousins are well educated. Some of them are settled abroad. I am a well educated girl , working as a teacher in one of the best schools of my city. But just being educated is not enough. No one can live happily till the time hypocrisy is alive. I want to marry a person who is of my religion. Our beliefs are same our thoughts are same but you know what? after having a well educated family, i am dying daily hundred times. Whenever i watch SJ i feel proud and blessed to be a North Eastern wali (MIZO) .. we are so much liberated and independent even though our states(region) are poor in terms of GDP or whatever. Aveena Behera dekho hum bhi chahte hai uski family use maaf kar de. But villages mein aise rishto ko manzuri nhi milti kyunki gaon mein ucchi neechi jaati ka bahot hota hai. Ye to bilkul alag religion ke. Khoon kharaba ho jaata hai. Rishta khatam karna padta hai ladki ladke ke sath , kyunki uska asar unke bhai beheno pe padta hai agar unse rishta bna kar rakhe to. Ye shaadi kr lete hai par bhugtna inki family ko bhi padta hai. Agar inko ladki ki family accept kr leti to iski beheno se koi shaadi nhi krta. Cities mein to bhi chalta hai gaon mein bahot bure haal hai. Bhavnaon mein behkar kaam nhi chalta practically sochna padta hai. Ha mein uske khilaf hu jo ladki ladka pyaar krte hai aur unko maar dete jaise Manoj babli ka case hua aur jo ladka West Bengal ka tha Rizwanur Rahman bilkul galat tha.
