2:20 imo this is the only scene that i like more than Breaking Bad. The slow build up of suspenseful music as Saul says his catchphrase, claps and laughing menacingly as he walked away. it really does set a mood that this man is an untrustworthy shady dude. Its not exactly what the original Saul goes for but i like the way Metastasis goes with Saul Bueno. He is the only bright spot in this shitty rip off.

See, what is completely lost in metastasis is the subtlety of facial expressions. In BB, Walter gives a condescending glance upwards when he hears the door open, expecting a student. Instead he finds his worst nightmare, his meth life and personal life colliding with Saul. Here, Walter looks up and is already nervous. It makes no sense in context. It only makes sense if you’ve seen BB. Just goes to show how immersed the BB actors were in there roles.

This looks less like a Spanish version of *Breaking Bad* and more like a Spanish parody of *Breaking Bad.* Like, “Saul Goodman” here looks *way* too handsome; the balding look between the Jimmy McGill and Gene eras was more or less symbolic of him losing Kim and just embracing the Saul persona. Here, he looks too handsome, even with the badly colored suit. 😔

And I mean automatically transcribe the Spanish language and automatically it can't translate it into English. And it's pretty accurate. It uses whisper AI models to do it.
