Thanks for the thorough overview of the book, it's not available for purchase here in the US yet. My only surprise is with the book's trim size - it's huge! Leiter himself preferred small books (he mentioned this in interviews) which is why Early Color and Early Black and White were relatively small. Looks like a great overview of Leiter's career, though. I'm adding this to my 'want' list.

Rupert is an amazing photographer and a great guy/teacher who I was lucky enough to have a zoom call with about street photography which is extremely low price for the knowledge Rupert has! Hopefully speak too you for another call in the new year pal

How did you get your hands on a copy before its official release in late October?

Thames and Hudson seems to release new books in the UK before it releases them to the North American market.

@@andrewc56 Thanks, but I live in the UK. The release date here is 26 October for at least two online retailers. Oh well. I’ve got plenty of other photo books to enjoy. I was just curious.
