@@janpustowka6202 just saying it but mak'gora can be fought however the 2 Individuals choose and each mak'gora the 2 people in it will agree on the rules for the battle, we dont often hear the rules to such a battle so we dont know if they just forgot to rule them out (not saying they would not use their powers) they very much still can use magic's. yes normally it was used by orcs and ogres for roles such as leadership of a clan. the rules can differ widely depending on the 2 contestants.

@@Shelarya Mby, but first Thrall vs. Garrosh rules were set, fighting without magic. so the continuation of said duel should have same rules and Thrall was disconected from the elements as he thought he cheated. Then Garrosh vs. Caine: rules wasnt stated (or i dont know about it) but its unimportand as the cheating was done by third party. And i think orcish Mak'gora is generaly taken as duel only with weapon of choice. Yes the weapon could be magic in some cases tho.

The problem with blackhand's horde is that the reason they needed to take a new planet was because of what they did to their's. And they weren't just taking more farm land. They brought with them all the fell and demon shit that corrupted them. So in time azeroth would be the same. Which is why he said thrall and his just horde and wars are not the same legacy as the original. Yet they still have to endure from what the original did. Because many vets like saurfang still live from that time

The problem with Blackhand's Horde was the Burning Legion and Gul'Dan having manipulated the Horde into a demon pact, while turning Blackhand into a puppet leader for the Burning Legion. That's pretty much it. In the end you can blame Kil'jaeden for being the smug Deciever that he is.

Fawful almost every single leader chewed sylvanas out for it. They didnt drastically push against her because they knew she changed it from a questionable war to a fight for survival. At that time the alliance would have no chance of peace talks or reasoning and would be twice as likely to want all their heads. Sylvanas wanted the horde to “Need” her and her violent tactics but unfortunately she forgot at its core the horde favors tradition and honor above even their own lives so over time they risked their lives to slowly pull away control. Dont forget she essentially was holding innocent horde civilians captive by upgrading military might under her direct command.

In the book "Before the Storm" it is confirmed that undead still get the benefit of using or being imbued with light, but that it causes a slight pain when used. I assume it would have the same affect if used in an attack and hurt her just a little more than normal.

@@Cykie2 Undead, mostly, are alive BECAUSE of hte Horde, the Horde is/was the one place they could feel, at least somewhat, normal, while yeah, there are likely undead who agree with sylvanas's insanity, most likely view her the same way everybody else does. remember, they are walking corpses, many of whom were revived against their will by the lich king, or possibly even Sylvanas herself, her wanting to bring everybody together in death seems kind of the opposite of what many would want, and what the opposite of at least what they believed, their orginal goal was, to make sure no one had to suffer the same fate they did.

Panda land was ass imo I consider it the worst expac from the point of my own bias. Hate the aesthetics, hate the king fu pandas, they are so stupid and do not belong in WoW, and lastly I feel the whole chinese theme was made to appeal to their chinese market, where most of the revenue they earn from the game comes from. I am glad that Saurfang finally said that Orcish Honor™️...is fake. That there is nothing honorable about how most clans and the Horde of the past acted. Also Saurfang didn't say it but I think it is implied that the time for Warchiefs is over, the Horde is too unstable for any one leader hold so much power. Also, those same “bloodthirsty monsters” saved Azeroth from the Burning Legion, killing so many demons alongside Jaina and the Night Elves. Everything ends sooner or later… even wars, even conflicts, even fights. So i am actually not surprised Blizzard wants to ( or at least hints out ) to completely end the faction wars for once and for all to fight along each other. I think it will be really interesting twist in what future holds.

But blizzard underestimates how much hatred, undisguised greed and "honor" remains in a world with that level of technology and society. aka a mix of feudal and tribal ages. just look at europe it has nearly never been at peace until the end of ww2, and even that lasted only 50 years (wars in eastern europe). and it's pretty much the same worldwide. or just look at france and england, they had a single war that lasted more than 100 years, and waged war at every single opportunity until ww1. and that's between members of the same species and even same nations for civil wars. in this case the grudge and possible profits are even much deeper/greater than most real life examples, in addition to them being different species. plus there's barely any real internal politics in wow. in short if it was real life peace between them would be near impossible at this point and there would most likely only be some truces for when a big bad guy arrives, and they need to team up temporarily. Or attemps at fake peace treaties, aka build up their armies to wage war once ready.

In reality the only driving narritive we get in warcraft is from the leaders and key figures they never have tried painting cultures and their needs/will. BFA is the close we get with kil turas and zandalar civillians stepping into the foreground. That being said ALL conflicts in WoW has been due to key figures hatred for the other side , BFA is looking to end everyones hate. Literally only problem child is tyrande whom has always shown grudges against just about every single race including her own lol. Beyond some weird BS happening in the final raid i dont see how there can be a reasonable explanation for either sides leaders to seek out war.

Futhermore many of the key figures have a modern-ish mentalities despite the game being set in a (fantasy) feudal and tribal setting. Basically I was just saying that if the lore was "realistic" the political map and relationships in wow would be very different. but yh as it currently is they ll be at peace for now. in short it's just a rant about how unimmersive the lore can be for me.

Saurfang did not die, as such thing is impossible. He just got bored of that form. The explosion was not Syvanas`s magic,which was blocked by Saurfang`s eyebrow. It was actually the fragment of the astral entity known as Saurfang, leaving it`s fleshy form behind. Azeroth survived this phenomenon because Saurfang knew it was not yet time to cleave it.

IIRC one weapon/ type of combat is allowed. So if you choose melee combat then archery and magic are forbidden. That's why Thrall using shamanistic powers against Garrosh was considered cheating.

it was not the physical cut that did her in, it was being told she lost, again and again. Remember, being told to go F herself, that she had done nothing but gave the alliance reason to fight back was what got her to burn TEldrassil in the first place in attempt to crush that hope, and it failed. it happened again and again, she won battle after battle, but not only did her tactics make sure the enemies wanted to stop her, but it made sure her allies wanted her stopped to. she won the battles, but she lost everything that would have won her the war

No, that's not how things are my friend. Not at all. The horde didn't come to Azeroth peacfully trying to find a new home. They came to cocquer the planet. From the moment they set foot on Azeroth they started destroying villages and killing innocent people. If one day somone invades your home and kills your family you do not just stay there and watch! You act like the alliance is at fault here for not forgiving them and inviting them over for coffee or something lmao! Not to mention that the orcs brought with them the corruption that destroyed their planet. Thrall's horde tried to change the past and fix all those problems but Sylvanas is leading them back to the evil corrupted past. That's why Saurfang says they have to break the circle.

I think the problem with the Mak'gora being a "set your own rules" kind of duel is that we very rarely get to see them set their rules. I know the rules of Garrosh vs Cairn's duel are clearly defined but not many other duels are, however there are several Mak'gora that have magic used in them with no in-universe character complaining about cheating, implying that no rule was set to stop them from using it in that instance. Since the rules for each Mak'gora are set by the participants it's actually quite possible for two casters to be in a duel and set the rules (1) No moving from your starting spot, and (2) ONLY spells are allowed, no weapons. Making it into a spell slinging duel like an old western gun slinging duel

What kind of magic was that she used in the end? She has always hade banshe powers after Arthus brought her back as undead but that was above that. And why wasent she hurt by Saurfangs sword slice. It was a clean hit on her head and it did nothing else then send out small trails of smoke. Saurfang hade clear cut marks on him but she hade none. Its always been speculated that she works or gets help from some great outside power and this has to be the confirmation. She toke a clean hit from Saurfang that left no scaremarks at all, it dident even dmg her head piece.

Someone’s forgetting the Jaina had broken her Neutrality by allowing the Alliance to use Theramore as a staging ground for further advance into the Barrens. Friendly reminder: Mok'gora rules are decided by the participants. In the Warcraft movie the usually used rule was unarmed combat with no magic.
