We now have our new model Actifry. So how is the chips?
Not a freebee, had to buy this, worth it though.

I thought the oil was only required if you were making your own chips from raw potatos. The frozen ones should have oil pre-applied.

Great job Jan. I like a simple meal too. I'm looking forward to more cooking videos. I thought those frozen sausages would take more than 8 minutes. Maybe that's the time for defrosted sausages?

One glaring fault is, that there is no way of interrupting the cooking cycle once it's started, so you have to get it right first time or switch it off, wait 5 minutes then re program it.

Thanks for the video - very useful! Tempted to buy one myself. Had a quick question - did the chips cook for 29 minutes first and then the sausages were another 8 minutes? Or did the chips cooks for 21 minutes and then the sausages and chips cooked for the last 8 together? Thanks!

This is lazy cooking and very unhealthy too. These fryers take up so much room too! Sorry to be negative but I’m not sold on it.. though maybe chicken /chicken pieces is good to do in it. I never deep fry anything. Teflon coating is toxic if you scratch it. Those chemicals stay in your body. I believe there are stainless steel air fryers on the market which should be better for health. On the odd occasion I crave chips I go to the chippy. Love chips!
