This is really versatile. Thank you for sharing...you could make a lot with the simple bread and meat..you could replace the sausage with any meat really, chicken, ham, hamburger and add a cheese that compliments each meat and a dip if you want to...you could make appetizers, breakfast, even a main course for dinner...this was a good idea.

Nice recipe. I take the biscuits and separate the layers so each biscuit is 1/2d. Good in lunches and also with a country gravy and eggs, yummm

Hey girl .. I just made these. I had to cook 23 min to become golden brown, in a preheated oven. The sauce really complimented. Next time, I will go for the spicy sausage! 😊 Hope life is treating you and yours well. Thanks again!

I'm so making these tomorrow but with spicy sausage. We love our spicy sausage and with the sweet glaze...yummy. 😋

I made these the other day, in fact just finished eating the last one. At first I was a bit leery about the addition of the garlic powder to the honey and butter glaze but it’s delicious. On normal days I see myself just frying the sausage in patties and baking the biscuits but on those special occasions or when there’s guests, I’ll make them as written. These are truly delicious and next time I’ll use the hot and spicy breakfast sausage.

Placing Them In The Oven In Foil Would Help The Cooking Process After You Brown Them On Top Of The Stove. Just A Suggestion.
@markgannett41044 жыл бұрын
great idea...but I have two suggestions, if you have an oven safe pan after you brown the sausage put it in the oven to finish it will make sure the meatballs are done in the middle without risking burning them...also if you use a rolling pin on the biscuits they will flatten nicely without tearing.

Nice! If you want to make the process easier... break/split the flakey biscuit horizontally in half [you cut vertical]. Then you have a disc, oval shape. Much easier to pinch top over sausage.

I wonder how these would be with a sweet or mild Italian sausage? Thinking of them as more of an appetizer than a breakfast treat.
@gma2syd8935 жыл бұрын
Just made these...OM! Yum! I found it easier to split the biscuit between its layers than to cut and stretch. Of course if your biscuits ate not the flaky kind this would not help. I also added scrambled egg.
