Thanks guys! I like squash quite a bit too. Mom only made it at Thabksgiving time when we were growing up, but I have learned to incorporate it into quite a few meals for the remainder of the year. This is a pretty tasty little dish. Yanno, if you didnt use a spicy sausage, I bet Otis might even like it 🙂. Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas too!

I had to watch part three times... the wringing of the hands, the excitement on her face, the “no pause” when you told her to serve herself.... it was like the time I was 5 and my great-aunt gave us permission to raid the candy jars at her old general store in Sevierville ... she counted down, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO! All the cousins and I dove in like we would NEVER get another piece of candy in our lives! 😂

I was going to suggest making a sausage stuffing,maybe add sone dried cranberries and then stuff the squash. But, then you would probably have to use an acorn squash. But some biscuit with how you made it sounds awesome too!

Haven't had acorn squash in a while. Gonna have to do something with them some time. This could've easily been a stuffing, you're right. Some cornbread and cranberries thrown in is pretty much all that you would need. Hmm....🤔🤔🤔
