Love your channel! 22 ammo is like a great cigar, when you go to buy a box of them with the same label it’s not the same smoke because it’s a whole new batch. Also even though it’s the same great ammo yesterday today it just opens up with density altitude and temp. Keep on creating that great content my friend!! Happy New Year from Rimfire Ranch!!

I have shot Amos, thinking oh, it’s the ammo blame and thought I was shooting my best then months later pull out the same Ammo and shoot Dead Nutz gotta Love it😵‍💫 No more blaming on Ammo at least most match stuff 🤪

Howdy! I enjoy the videos a great deal. Could I ask why you don't use a stock stop on your front rest. Seems to me, that positioning the rifle in the exact same place for each would lead to improve accuracy!!!!

Not sure yet because I’m limited to 25 yards, a red dot , and no rest. But so far it looks like my Mkii FV SR is liking cheap ammo. 14 rounds of CCI mini mag made a ragged hole. Same with subsonic,standard velocity, and Federal auto match. I know stretching it out to fifty yards will make a big difference, but so will a scope and a stable foundation. It’s a fun rifle anyway. Definitely test at 100 and 200. I've had dramatic differences testing out past 50. I shoot a lot of SK Pistol Match, the Pistol Match Special. Shot the Norma TAC22 for a bit when there was no SK available. Shooting some Wolf Match lately and was real.happy with the results. Eley Match and Tenex shot poorly in my Kimber 82G, my CZ457, and my Anschuts 1903. But the SK PM shoots well in all of these.

I feel the gun will shoot its just extremely ammo picky. Maybe couple inch lbs on those screws, maybe rws. I am waiting on the next video before I order any ammo, great video series

Don’t short change yourself yet Marine. Test RWS before you go to KY. I would also test some Midas if you can get some. Test out to 100 for shits and giggles but right now your AO should be 50 yards. You’re getting better but don’t forget breath control and it’s always a good idea to clean the barrel when changing ammo. You’re firing 10 anyway at the start of each run of ammo RH

Gotta love Lapua/SK ammo. Shoots very well for me. I have a lot of SK ST Plus that shoots well and does not break the bank. Take it to 100 yds and see what shines.

I know rabbit holes, ha ha. One January I was working on fixing a rifle and wanted to test it. The problem? It was the coldest winter in years with a wind chill approaching -50C/-58F. A normal man would have waited for another day. I was so far down the hole I didn't care so I drove out to the range to shoot the rifle *once* just to prove it worked. So yeah, I can understand, ha ha.

Test the Lapua at 100 without cleaning. Deep clean and test RWS at 50 and 100.

Lapua is by far the most consistent match ammo these days. Even Tenex is inconsistent in my comp rifles
