Looked like a great Breakfast. As I have mentioned before I am not much of a knife guy...but this knife really amazed me as to how easily it handled the heavy jobs then was not to much of a beast to handle the more delicate carving, Thanks For Sharing.

Another great review Joe. I don't own a lt knife yet but I do have a WC wooddrake in a full flat grind and I really do like it. Before that I always used my BHK woodsman with a Scandi grind but I'm thinking of being a convert to the flat plus it is so much easier to touch up in the feild if needed. Thanks for sharing. God bless and stay safe.

I'm supposed to receive a prototype desert ironwood tomorrow to my door . I'm pretty excited . Nice to see it in use . The prototypes of the flat grind that I've seen all have only two of the "fish eye" pins but I've zero concerns , think it's kinda unique and the third probably amounts to overbuilt like their knives in general . Nice breakfast !

Say Heah Joe, Sorry buddy I never liked sausage tyle handkes, So when B.H. came out with the Attitude, I got it because I liked the handle tyle on it. But I had it modified I had it slightly curved and. high sabdi to cover both wirlds of a flat and scandi grind. yeah the high scandi allows that for me. To strenghten the edge, I strop a micro conex edge, and that works for me. I also had a white G-10 with blue liners ad they supried me with a beautiful square bottom dangler sheath a truly lovely kit. It does remind me o a cross between the Genisis and the GSN, Mine is a 3/16" thick and a 5 1/4" blade, Because I like to stab and twist kindling apart and it's robust enough for me to do that. Job well done, Joe, Thanx You. ,, .

You should start a outdoor cooking channel! All your video's are great, but really enjoy watching you cook, and everything is better done on a fire, I think you could heat up a can soup and it would taste better outside. I am going to start saving up and try to get myself a LTWK in 2016, just not shore which one yet. Thanks

@feralwoodcraft8 жыл бұрын
+TheSmokinApe The bushcrafter is a good blade. Well I have to admit, the only bushcrafter I've used was one with a ffg so....lol Fit, finish, and comfort, the bushcrafter is in the same ballpark as the Genesis. I do prefer the Genesis though. Great vid of a great knife! how long cookingtime for the eggs.....im heading out right now with some eggs and bacon:)
@feralwoodcraft8 жыл бұрын
+Henrique Merisalo That depends on a lot of factors. How hot your fire is, the ambient temperature, the temperature of the base you set the eggs on, how far away the eggs are from the fire, etc. It takes practice to get them how you want and even then you still miss the mark a bit from time to time. I'll have a how to vid out soon on this subject. Thanks!

Feral Woodcraft I liked the bush craft aspect of how you cooked the steak and bacon and I had never seen that method of cooking eggs. That was also cool. I will have to try that myself. @feralwoodcraft8 жыл бұрын
+Drew Lucero I'd say that was about 15 to 20 minutes. But that depends on the heat of your fire, how close they are to your fire, and how you want them cooked. I like my soft cooked so I didn't pop a hole in the shell and kept them a couple inches further back then I would otherwise. If I go for a hard cook, I pop a small hole and get them about 6 to 8 inches away from the fire (again depending on the heat level). Thanks Drew!
