We all have experienced some family dysfunction at one point or another. Unfortunately for Meghan, her family is displayed on the world stage. I have a feeling that they will look back on this and regret their actions, their words and their unsupportiveness of her when she needed them most to be by her side.

+ Ajo Wong I think that her mother is all class and she is a dignified lady. She is a psychotherapist and a yoga instructor. This kind of fits in nicely with Meghan's healthy lifestyle campaign and Prince Charles's organic food interests and healthy lifestyle interests. I am so rooting for her! I think that she should have a position as ambassador for the British royals and many of their charities. I imagine that Meghan has other family members on her mother's side who are all class and wonderful as well. How do i know? Because they didn't give embarrassing interviews to paparazzi, write public letters, declare that they are writing a tell all book, and do other embarrassing stunts for publicity and money. I sincerely doubt that her father has been in and out of the hospital for heart attacks on 2 separate occasions recently and that he signed himself into undisclosed hospitals in an undisclosed country or state for these " heart attacks "and " a three vessel coronary arterial bypass graft". This is not usually how the healthcare system works. One only goes for emergent CABG if it is a matter of life or death following a heart attack ( myocardial infarction). CABG is done electively with much preparation The half sister who is reporting this is too naive about the healthcare system to report this realistically. I think that this is the acceptable public excuse broadcasted ( after he wouldn't come) for the benefit of the royal family and the world. The reporters should have kept away from Meghan's estranged father , half-brother, and half-sister. After the last few months of seeing all of their sorry publicity stunts for money and the public disclosure of their history with law enforcement and difficulties with alcohol, we are tired of their antics. We can now see why they are estranged from Meghan . it was smart of Meghan to distance herself from them. They are jealous, envious, manipulative, and self serving. I'm glad that they never received an invitation to the wedding. They would have caused a scene. I wonder if Samantha , the half- sister, put her father up to doing the embarrassing photos, thinking that " my brother and I aren't invited; you aren't going to the wedding either."

Further, I believe the sister deviously convinced the father to not go to the wedding claiming health issues, thinking this would be a blow to Meghan...on her part and not the father. However, GOD worked it so that Meghan's father-in-law, the next King of England will be the one to walk her down the isle. You can't get much grander than that! Her American family will be watching it for sure but only to make comment afterwards so they can somehow make money at her expense. Although, in defense of the father, I keep reminding myself that he has been a recluse for so many years and to be catapulted into the limelight on the world stage may have been too much for him to bear. All we know is that Meghan loves her father and is concerned for his health and the strain of traveling, the pressure of doing everything right and not embarrassing his daughter or the Royal Family may have proved too overwhelming and fearful for him. Therefore, I can understand his reluctance and his fear...and perhaps Meghan understands too. Like most people around the world, I am so excited for this lovely and beautiful couple on their special and opulent wedding day! A lifetime of happiness and inward joy!
